The word "Requiem" is associated with "Mass of the Resurrection". Zero Requiem means the resurrection of Zero and the death of Lelouche. The writing in this anime was so freaking good ONG.

Still the most goated ending to an anime series of all time
I thought of this ending last night and it immediately made me bawl my eyes out like Nunnally. What made me cry even harder was my mum did not understand how i felt. But i don't know how to tell someone who hasn't watched Code Geass, or is less of a fan than i am of it. I think it is completelu normal to cry buckets over this ending as it goes to show that i am a true fan of this series, even more than i was when i watched it 5 years ago.

@@subhajeetdas9539I know. And get this, my mum didn't get why I was crying over Euphy's death and thought I was crazy. Cornelia better not have heard that! It's perfectly normal to cry if a favourite character dies, even if they aren't real. Euphemia may be only fictional, but her death really hit me. Especially since she doesn't appear in the OVAs or movies like Rolo, Shirley and Lelouch did.

this anime ending hit so hard. It always make my eyes in tears. He was alone make so many pain to himself, hurting his friends and belowed sister. he sacrifice everything what he couch: time when he was alive, friends, love, memory about him beside few people all world will be remember him as biggest crime dictater ever, and at last his life, he sacrifice everything that you can. He did it all that his sister couch live in world withoud wars.

The best main character of all time
The difference between Eren and Lelouch are quite simple. In AoT there's a term called the predetermined fait, where no matter what you do, you cannot alter the future/destiniy that's already been setlled because that will create a paradox. Eren did what he did because he needed a motive to fight for the freedom he seeked and he didn't care of the outcome. The problem is that Eren needed a reason to fight for the freedom, so when he decided that, the future was already been settled via the path and the power of both the Attack Titan and the Original one. In the other hand, Lelouch was going to change the system in the first place no matter if he had the Geass or not, as he said that to C.C. Lelouch didn't had the ending planned, he builded the ending through all the series and events that occured, thats why his personality was changing and his morality and emotions were pending in a thin line. At the end he chose this as the better way to setlle the chain of hatred and the future he wanted to create.

Still one of my top anime, if not the #1 for me to this day. Season 2 wasn't as good as the first part, but nothing is perfect and this was a fantastic anime without source material (manga) like many others.
