    Imagine if Optimus will be able to become a driver in any car/van or truck or even aircraft with appropriate sensors to go along where the choice of type of vehicle would increase incrementally!

      Wouldn’t it be easier to just invent a car/van or truck or aircraft that drives and flies itself?

    just think if to give to new Tesla bots that just learning their movements to test new Tesla products they could be really good testers, and it could be good research what mistakes make humans when starting to research new things, and it will give answers how to make products better quality and comfortable first time use

    I think it will be a very interesting day when a Tesla Uber-Eats vehicle drives up to a person's home, parks, and an Optimus Robot exits the driver's door and hand-carries a food delivery to the waiting recipients. 🤖🚀🛸

    Far as I know only Boston dynamics is the only major robot maker using hydraulics for humoid robots.

    I thought Atlas only works on pre-programmed algorithms and has no real AI built in.
    Has it learned to do anything else besides dance and parkour?
    I don't think Boston has released any new videos in years!

  • @spyintheskyuk
    @spyintheskyuk 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Interesting not seen Optimus achieve 6mph or it mentioned before less than half that is the figure generally mentioned with an aim for 2.5. Is there any evidence? The fire risk of hydraulics surely is at least balanced by the risk of electrical battery fires at least till safer battery tech is incorporated. I note that Synergy have moved from electric to hydraulics at present. That said Tesla does likely have a lead I suspect in electric systems and in the end it is going to be the better system.

    The T & BD bots can both be modified to suit all types if situations. The T bots are gaining in its complicity; plenty time to take a larger % of the market but BD have a lot to say and do in said market. Both could use a AI servicing kiosk at home.✌

      Yeah, these Chinese click-bait channels with "finally happened" in the title are a dime a dozen. Every time I come across a new one, (usually made by the same group) I just click "do not recommend channel" and the algorithm gets better at filtering them out.

    Why does it have to be competition? The way I look at it, each can find their own niche. I think Tesla's will be more toward home use, office use, etc., while others may be in factories where brut force etc.

    • @kennethelliott9248

      The person who made this video has praised Tesla and downplayed everything Boston Dynamics has done, going so far as to defend Optimus’ “old man” walk. I wish he would come out and say how two-faced Tesla is by fabricating most of its efforts in autonomy. In actuality, these videos of it folding clothes and doing autonomous work is just as pre-programmed as the Boston Dynamics robots.

      From a practical point of view it just makes sense. What better way to keep a $40,000 or $50,000 robot clean and free of scratches and minor damage from daily use, then to just put clothes on it. Who knows, a whole new industry could spring up creating outerwear for robots in the future.😂
