My mother has a severe case of meige syndrome. She's in her late 50s. And it is ruining her life. She has been undergoing numerous sessions of BOTOX injections in her eyelids and her face to cease the spasms. It works for about a month before she dips right back into it. We are desperate as we want her to regain control of her life. We considered surgery (it still is an option) but a myectomy, full or partial, is still very invasive. I want to know how I could contact you and hopefully get my mother the life she deserves. Thank you. God bless you

I am suffering from the same Syndrome. Ive dealt with Meige syndrome for four years. Ive seen at least 3 different neurologists. The only thing that helped me is the medication in which I take 26 pills a day, I’m not sure I can list the name of the medication on social media, but it did give me some relief. Ive had botox treatments and they didn’t help my condition at all. I am desperate. I am now unemployed and shut down my business. I want my life back! I am a Christian and I pastor a church. My membership severely declined as a result of the Meige syndrome. I have lost EVERYTHING except for the breath in my body. I hope this SHIP can heal me with the help of the Lord!
@sosaboy sosa Going all the way to Sth Africa is unfortunately not an option for my mother right now. She is undergoing botox injections that help her for a week or two and then the spasms grow even worse than they were initially. We are considering a surgery that removes the muscles controlling those spasms. It is very invasive, but it is the only option we think might help on the long run.
