If you haven't done any before I think they are quite similar. It's when you learn one or the other things are different. It is easier to go from sculling to sweep than sweep to sculling
@@CameronBuchan Great! I’ve just finished a ‘Learn to row course’ at Ely rowing club which is opposite the Cambridge uni boat house where you’ve been. We have been learning in the quad sculling which I’ll continue before attempting to try a single but definitely want to try sweeping to see which I’d be better at.
The university boat race is a fix, you know. The same two teams appear in the final every year without fail.

🤣
Nice photobomb at 3:19 :)
Really went for it!
That was me :)
Haha appreciate the Temple photo bomb, where I taught many rowers in my 12y on faculty. Go 🦉! And hi from Philly.
Hi Cam!
Hello Mark! Saw quite a few people training out of there!
How much is this camp?
From a quick google:-
COST
Aug 23rd - Aug 26th
$1,149 Day Participants
$1,349 Overnight Participants
@@dbcooper7326 $1,349 per day?!? Jesus Christ
@@robertwishart8796 not per day, for the whole camp
@@robertwishart8796 4 days. I suppose if you got a leg up on a Harvard scholarship from it, money well spent.
@@dariaciparis9412 oh I was going to say wtf but yeah that’s fair
What’s harder sculling or sweeping?
