Having it tuned by Oluv is almost a guarantee for decent audio. He also did a great job on the smaller Earfun speaker. I wish other manufacturers also asked for a tuning by someone like him with decent ears. I noticed that his immersive 3d reviews are now available on the channel of the Audiophile Housewife after his own channel was taken down. When you mentioned speakers around 200 dollar, I guess you meant the Tribit Blast. When it was released it tried to compete with the Boombox 2, had decent punch but it lacked in the lower frequencies to give it a rounded bass so Tribit will soon launch the Blast 2 with a center speaker to address that.
My speaker is arriving later today. as always with the Earfun stuff since oluv tuned free pro 2i am sooooooo happy to see how it is going to perform. spent only 111,99€ as an early bird and this thing is going to be one key component of my driving disco (basically a camping van where people up to 6 foot 2 inch tall can stand/dance in)
Update: daaaaaamn outdoor+ is rocking the house with deep bass starting from slightly above 30Hz...this thing kicks ass when you are a basshead. but oluv dialed everything down in his studio EQ, so if you want to listen to music without too much bass, go for that or maybe Indoor without the plus. Studio is noticeable less loud at max volume btw...guess some could counter that using wavelet with a flat EQ +10db
Great video bro my question to you is does it sound as loud as the soundcore speaker and does it sound better or not cause I was thinking about buying it
@@aaron_varghese I guess it's by design, The person that tuned the speaker pushed it extra hard on the high end for those particular songs that are mixed at really low volumes but it doesn't make for a very good work speaker.
8:10 Well, guess what? The Studio mode is the most neutral sounding mode that will actually let you hear the music the way it was originally recorded as the UBOOM X in its Studio mode was tuned to actually sound like the Neumann KH80 pair of studio monitors, those monitors are one of the most neutral sounding studio monitors to ever exist on the market. Oluv used them as his neutral sound reference to make the Studio mode tuning. Based on your opinion, you basically think that a neutral sound signature sounds awful to you. It may be awful for you subjectively, but objectively speaking, it's the best sounding mode of all. Period.
@d.g.o4410 actually, I'm a fan of neutral tuning. Especially when listening to specific genres with certain headphones. This was not just a neutral tuning sound to me.
@@OfficialGamesky Objectively speaking, the Studio mode is a truly neutral sound tuning, this is based on Oluv’s own research and findings on his Patreon page. It's just not the kind of sound signature you like, and that’s ok. Most people prefer a different type of sound signature, and that is also good, most people love different flavors of sound. Not everyone’s gonna love a truly flat and neutral frequency response, and that is also fine. :)
@@d.g.o4410you also missed to point out that sound output also varies between the source or device you're using. Different devices have different sound output so the Studio mode might be a perfectly flat response speaker, the audio source isn't.
