I just got engaged yesterday and I felt like it was not real-I felt like it was pretend and I wasn’t old enough yet to do this or allowed to do this…even though I am 33. I had to drop into my body and tell myself to enjoy this moment. I said yes 🙌 and I meant yes and I also didn’t know exactly what it means to be married. Will we be in the same page about expectations regarding all these steps? Now I don’t want to tell my family because they are so judgmental. I’m happy for myself and I don’t get to go shout about it from the rooftops. I guess it’s just for me and my partner to appreciate and that’s very not what I see with other couples but whatever way you want to go about it I think is the right way.

me and my gf r getting engaged next week and my anxiety and thoughts were through the roof last night we cuddled all night last night i needed her cuz how nervous i was. i love her so much we have been together for a year and almost 3 months. We r ready but nervous i think im more nervous than she is lol. I thought none of this was normal. we both have OCD. but will always be there to support each other!
