SUNGHOON'S ACTING SKILLS 💯🔥 he conveyed all the emotions so well, and his gaze OMG Sunghoon didn't come to play
One detail that I want to point out, at 6:05 there's a brief shot of a bunch of empty cans of pineapples. I was wondering what that meant but I found out that this is a actually a direct reference to the romance movie "Chungking Express (1994)" where the canned pineapple represents the main character’s inability to accept the end of his relationship:
"Cop 223 buys pineapples that expire on May 1; once they go bad, he’ll officially give up on getting his girlfriend back. He proceeds to eat all 30 cans in one sitting.”
The concept trailer was released on May 1st as well, and the reference basically represents Sunghoon officially accepting the end of his relationship with her and foreshadows the end of this trailer. So I guess he ate all of the cans of pineapple before they expire on May 1st (just like in Chungking Express), and at the ending scene, he tells her to bite him and she says goodbye. And that’s the ending of that relationship. The details in this concept trailer is mindblowing!!
I also want to point out that I don't think she ended up biting Sunghoon although he asked him to, because unlike when she bit Jay, there was no emphasis on the "bite" with Sunghoon? I think he just evaporated into the air because of the sun coming up, you can see the sun rising when she says "Bye bye my love". This reminds me of Jungwon who evaporated in the same way in Given-Taken because of the sunlight!
so i wasnt the only one thinking of chunking express!! the colors in some cuts were very reminiscent of wong karwai's style (greenish filter on the film). i also think this trailer wants to mark the end of their relationship to "Sooha" (idk what else to call her). based on given-taken she turned them into her knights?? with her blood, but if she bites them she takes their power away or even kill them? but by biting them she liberated them from their fate, which i dont know what is. sunghoon seems to be trying escaping fate tho.
I was thinking at first that the empty cans show that the girl is trying to suppress her hunger for blood, showing us that SHE is the vampire. Because I have often read in books that eating or drinking can suppress a vampire's thirst. But I have no idea how to connect this to the rest of the theories...

Sunghoon was hiding Sooha from his brothers, because if the boys took Sooha, since the boys were her knights (Celine) in their previous life and had the duty to protect her, they wanted Sooha to bite them so that the powers that she gave them will return to herself, and when this happens, the boys will be destroyed.
But Sunghoon wanted to prevent this from happening and find another way to save both Enhypen and Sooha. But in the end, Sooha had to bite them even though she didn't want to. In order to escape from this painful fate, Sunghoon said to Sooha: BITE ME :) 💔
So, we conclude that Enhypan sacrificed themselves to Sooha
as it's said at the beginning of the video: "this is a story about pride and oblivion, love and sacrifice and fate... if you wish to escape from twist of fate, remember these two words: BITE ME!"
Now if the question arises that if he wanted this not to happen and to save his brothers, why did he kill them? I think he didn't actually kill them because vampires don't die from sword wounds.
I LOVE YOUR THEORIES. It makes sense now why Heeseung reacted like that in the first part of the vid. That's his telepathy. He saw what Sunghoon's gonna do that's why he went to the other members to stop Hoon and to not ruin whatever it is for them as vampires. This is mindblowing!

So someone on twitter pointed out one more thing. Remember Sunghoon trying to make her smile, maybe they were hiding from others in that place , and there was a scene of cans , so maybe she was thirsty (as in thirsty for blood) that's why he was giving her something to drink.

The girl had to bite them to fulfill their fate but Sunghoon was stopping the others from doing so. In the end, the girl had to bite Sunghoon, sending all of them into the future where they are reincarnated as their characters in Dark Moon. This is our theory based on the trailer and the Enhypen lore. This comeback is so exciting! Can’t wait to actually hear all the songs!

I agree with your theory Patricia. Sooha's blood created the boys, and she is right now trying to save them in the webtoon. I wonder how this will all turn out
and it also connects to how the concept trailer started. "if you wish to escape this twist of fate, remember these two words". meaning all this time the boys were trying to escape their situation. and just like what you said, sunghoon didn't want that because he grew fond of the girl. but in that scene with jay, before she bit him, she looked helpless like she knew she had to do what she and sunghoon were avoiding. i also saw a theory about how the boys are connected so when all but sunghoon were killed, sunghoon also grew weaker (thats why the girl had to support him when they were walking). im just wondering what heeseung's role is in all of this because he wasn't in the fight scenes.
more on the lighter side though, the part when they all put their hands together to decide who would be "leading" and going after sunghoon, and only jungwon's went up, it was so enhypen coded because its similar to how they play rock paper scissors to decide

So ok heres my take on this. (this may contain spoilers from the webtoon) The members in the webtoon are currently under some mind control and sunghoon is the only one that isn't as he is half warewolf and half vampire. So now he's trying to free the other members also. When the girl who I think is Sooha hugged Jay because she thought he was his friend (he is dw) and because he's under the control she bit his neck so he could wake up to reality again. As shes the queen of vampires and can do that.
And Sunghoon saying "bite me" & Sooha saying "bye, my love" before biting Sunghoon.
In this version, Sooha makes Sunghoon a vampire. Sooha is in danger because of her identity. By sacrificing himself, Sunghoon would make her stronger. They were trying to evade fate by running away by in the end sunghoon had to utter "bite me".
A story of love, regret and sacrifice.

There are 100s of theories about this trailer but i found this one most convincing. The one who made this theory has thoroughly followed both novel and webtoon versions of dark moon. It's quiet long tho, so take your time 😅

You have to read their dark moon webtoon to understand their lore. The girl is Sooha who was a princess in their past life. Their powers came from her. Basically, they are her vampire knights. Like her protectors. My theory is that this was the time when Sooha was getting weak but enhypen was not yet strong enough to protect her so they were "killed" so they will be protected until they get their full powers. When all of them reincarnated, they became the characters of the dark moon webtoon, the ones in school uniform. My descriptions are so vague because there are a lot of details that are not included in the webtoon (and I don't really remember the things I read from there), but the other engenes said the Wattpad is much more detailed. But yeah, basically, I think this trailer is from those events.
I don't know if someone mentioned it already!? But do you two know Dark Moon WebToon? The trailer alludes to this WebToon. The story with the girl, the good and bad vampires, etc.

UR GUYS THEORY ARE REALLY GOOD , IT ALL MAKES SENSE . I have a theory off my own that sunghoon is like you guys said the girls protector but one things for sure is that sunghoon has some sort of relationship with her bc why else would she say " nae sarang " anyway I think that the enypen members isn't trying to harm her or the girl I think.... bc when sunghoon was fighting jungwon , jungwon dint seem he was trying to harm him and in the scene where the girl bumps into Jay, Jay dint seem to harm her either. Which leads me to think that sunghoon is under a spell by the girl but I dont think the girl is evil , and u know how most of the teaser/trailer vid fighting scene is colored white and black well I did some research and I found out that those colors could represent life and death , and in the vid the color red was really the only vibrant color we saw and I did some more research and found out that red could mean love , so my theory is that when sunghoon was fighting the enypen members all hecould think about is life death and his love for her , but at the end of the vid we saw that sunghoon asked the girl to "Bite him" which could mean he maybe have realized what he has done he killed the enhypen members and decided to ask the girl to bite him as a way off paying on off what he has done , BUT in the cid we dint see heesung anywhere.. well we saw him in the beginning to we dint see him anywhere else so.. is he still alive? And in the scene where sunghoon stabbed niki he turned into Jay so is niki also still alive? Anyway that's my theory and I want to give credits to Astella Production since I took some inspiration out off them and added it in my own theory

I was waiting for your reaction as you are the best. Thank you for the translations. It helped me to more fully understand what is coming. I read the webtoon and have watched everything storyline from the beginning. I think much of what you said is right on. Whether this is connected to what is happening in the webtoon, an alternate timeline or even a foreshadowing of what is to come. One thing remains true: fate plays a big part in what happens to them. Because their MVs always have double meanings this one is also about choices that fate pushes you toward. There are some things that you cannot control. Collectively they know what is coming and while they fight to resist their fate in the end they make the choice to accept what they cannot change. In that acceptance they are freed to move on. The coming story is drawing them to a place where they will have to deal with pain, loss and a life not of their choosing. In accepting what is, they are freed to fight for what can be. An epic battle is coming where they will have to stand together if they want to survive.

The only thing I can think about is of Drunk Dazed when they all were standing looking up at I assume Sooha, and if i remember correctly in the dark moon webtoon the orphanage headmaster said something about the members taking up the duty of protecting Sooha.
So what I'm thinking is that she gave them powers, specifically her powers, and then she was reborn in weaker form (I also think that was mentioned in the webtoon but I can't remember). So when Heeseung talks about restoring the power back to her that's probably why they go after her and Sunghoon. And since Sunghoon doesn't want to leave her the rest of the members go after him.
But something else that I'm thinking about is the werewolves, since Khan (K) also likes Sooha and &team is coming back in June will we get some more storyline from theri side? Also if Enha got their powers from Sooha where did the werewolves get their powers?
i'd like to know if you guys read the enhypen lore webtoon? it would have helped to fill in a few gaps that you guys may have had, theory wise. sorry that there are a few spoilers for the webtoon in this but it'll help in understanding the trailer!
- the girl in the video is most probably sooha, the female lead in the webtoon
- what may explain why sunghoon works alone is that solon (his character in the webtoon) is half vampire and half werewolf when compared to the rest of enha (who are all full vampires)
- however, solon working against the other boys is something i wouldnt have expected- all 7 of them worked together as the vampires and were more against the &team boys (they are werewolves, and are included in the lore because the two groups' universes are connected. k, or khan in the webtoon, has a crush on sooha for the same reason as solon.). this is also something i can't really figure out at the moment
- yes, sooha has superpowers; only her super strength manifests in the (first part of the) webtoon though- it explains why she thinks she's "not strong enough" because she cant necessarily use her powers for combat like the boys. she herself is, in fact, a vampire- and not just any vampire, she's a vampire princess. her fate and her powers are also connected to the boys; they were their knights in a past life / timeline, and heli and sooha had a more solid/confirmed romantic relationship in that life / timeline
- why heeseung (heli in the webtoon) gets a solo shot is likely because he is in fact the lead character of the webtoon- he's kind of the leader of the boys, and he's the one who has more of a romantic connection with sooha. hence one of my question with the trailer is why sooha has a romantic connection with sunghoon instead of heeseung. -> this also explains why heeseung doesnt have many shots here because he should play a much larger role in the bigger picture
- something that partially explains this is the fact that solon has a crush on sooha because according to werewolf lore she was the first person he saw under a full moon (or something similar i dont remember the exact details). hence he definitely cares a lot about her, but... yeah
jas was also spot on about the 6 bodies in 1 theory- enha basically confirmed it themselves in their own reaction video to the trailer!
i do think that the disintegration thing is more because the sun came up - jungwon also disintegrated in given-taken. one loophole that this has though, is that i'm pretty sure that enhypen don't disintegrate because of sunlight in the webtoon. so that's another question lol

I think maybe that the girl is remember from the first videos of when they met that girl and Haley had her blood and stuff and inviting her to the party that she ended up being the creator of them and then I guess because maybe someone wants to die and not keep going live on forever. He was trying to protect her but then the other guys were like no we want to live forever so maybe that's why they were trying to fight him to keep the powers and so maybe when someone was turned maybe they were in a relationship and then at the end of the day like she just want to read turn him into a daywalker because the fact that she knows that it's painful and that's probably why she had to let him go
Basically he was protecting her because she's there maker but he wants to return the full powers back to her forever but I'm guessing they don't want that so they had the leader combined them so they can fight him but one at a time he killing them so they turn into the person he actually has killed wen they die but she bit Jake who was actually the leader so they all was drained when she bit him so the only one left was the protector but she refused to bite him because she didn't want to she felt it was her falut in tge first place so she left him go🥺
