Great to see Dr Bob Thurman here. He's a wonderful champion of the Tibetan cause, and Tibet House US in NY and Menla in the Catskills are definitely on my bucket list if karma ever brings me back to the US! ( I've enjoyed previous visits). Wonderful discourse. Thank you all ❤

Does it get better than this ? The two best interviewers in the world both on together with Robert Thurman !!!! If I had known that the world would produce stuff like this then I never would have sulked in my youth.

So glad he mentioned at the end political facts is also Dharma. He didn’t get to the 4th Buddhist noble truths but he got to them already translated into our American way of life. Such a pleasure to hear him always. Thank you for bringing him for an interview.

Appreciation and heartfelt thanks to JM and EV for *allowing*, and thus reinforcing, the free-fall of wisdom and love, inspiration and ‘yes we can’ gifted to us by Mr Thurman. May we all embody what he graced us with and take it out into, onward and upward in frequency, our every step, our every interaction. Blessings to all

When Professor Thurman said, by 2040 the environment to be “completely clean,” the number in the screen was 1:20:40
    😃Beautiful Synchronicity. 👍

I learn so much from Robert Thurman every time he lets himself talk and follow his logic. I find myself repeating some of his light and logical gems and helping people in my life with his gift of peace making in this dark mess. Thank you for this interview.

Going from a peaceful mindset to a political mindset I feel has clouded a brilliant mind into dualistic thinking, of where the current politic of separation is nurturing an element of right think, and fostering an equal and opposite oppression. There is no good vs evil, just people striving to find the best in themselves. Still, a fine guest.

40 minutes and still no 4 Friendly Fun Facts AKA 4 Noble Truths? No dialogue going on here. Just let him go on and on. I love Robert but his age is showing. Incompletely informed about world politics, etc. But the main thing is it’s unclear what this video is about. Watching the whole thing but still would like to confirm this is not click bait.

Highly consequential for our country, I believe, is the association he made of today’s nihilism and mindful zen based meditation as opposed to the one he recommends, the one pointed concentration type of meditation.

Bowing from Marquette. Long listener to this channel and menla-I’m talking years!
Bob has many times pointed out something that is a potent arguement point to my teacher and also random conversations. It’s that reducing the population is disengenuine. Sokuzan says it too.
My point here is that I can not bring myself to support any presidential candidate. Bob sneaks in at the end that Joe Biden is poor… are you kidding me? Bob we love you but please please try not to spread false hope that the us govt is our friends… that Churchill is our friend. I understand the vows to love everybody and I really try to live it. So I see where you’re coming from but know that most of those listening don’t know those bodhisattva vows. I feel that you are putting false hope into listeners by implying traces of lasting good within our upper billionaire class. Both sides are paid for by oil… not just one. Realize that those you are praising are actively trying to reduce population. Behind everything else you say but if I may just poke at that point… I can not see any type of vote or political party helping out in any way at this point and I can not symbolically support either side.
    With sincere magnanimity,
    Liam bowing.

Lots of ego going on from this guest, and duality thinking when discussing world politics. Very Uninteresting. 😕
There are much more coherant and thinkingallowed relevant guests to take the seat with the great Jeffrey "MIXLOVE"
