The model of German football is amazing. Something every league in the world should adopt. No owner can hold anymore than 49% of the club, the rest is owned by the fans. Ticket prices are dirt cheap, beer dirt cheap. Average stadium size is bigger, standing allowed.
Problem with the German system is that if every other league is full of super rich owners, your teams besides the biggest, in Germany's case Bayern, are plundered by all these rich clubs. Just look at the amount of former Bundesliga players playing for City, Liverpool and Chelsea. Or great Bundesliga coaches like Klopp or Tuchel coaching in England, instead of coaching a Bayern rival in Germany. Problem with the German system is that if every other league is full of super rich owners, your teams besides the biggest, in Germany's case Bayern, are plundered by all these rich clubs. Just look at the amount of former Bundesliga players playing for City, Liverpool and Chelsea.
