Great list. I also watch these. I also recommend Lisa and Josh. They give you every penny spent on their travels. Really great for their one year round the world trip.
Thank you so much!! We are greatfull to be apart of your list!! We enjoy many of these channels as well and look forward to watching the honorable mention World Wanderers!! 😁 You two are great!! 😊❤
Wow! Thank you so much for the shout out! We appreciate the mention! We hope your journeys are everything that you wish for! Have a Happy Journey! John & Bev ❤
@@WorldWanderersUSA I love them too! They are our favorites! They are so real and I learned so much on their Travel School. We love their website too! They have really good recommendations.
Great videos you two, first time watchers, and know that TH-cam suggested you to us! Well played! This one added a few to our list, thanks! And of course we subscribed to you. Looking forward to more of your videos.
Warren and Julie Travel have one of the best channels we have found. They interview lawyers, accountants, realtors in different European countries. Highly recommended.
Great job 👏 👍 just found your channel in my feed. Subbed. I watch most of those as well. We are 4 years out. Waiting for our daughter to head out to college. Will be sure to binge watch mre to get caught up on your content 👍
Wow ! Good luck on YT. My wife and I couldn't stop laughing at the fact that we were 5/5 at the beginning! We found a couple of new channels we'll check out. Then you guys picked right back up with your gear and credit card channels!!! Unreal. Hopefully soon enough we'll give you guys a new category when my wife and I finally hit upload. 😮. We're from the Northeast, U.S and moved to Tavira Portugal. They have semi-annual leasing here. So we're gonna be Tavira 7 months and slow traveling the rest. While we work on obtaining our Portuguese citizenship and E U passport ! And by the way, we are your 311th subscriber. Good luck again with your channel.
Haha we must both have good taste in channels! Please come back and let us know when your channel goes live :) Until then, enjoy Portugal, we loved it there!
Thanks for the round up. We like and follow most of these channels. We are a couple years ahead of you on slow full time budget/balanced travel. Keep pushing towards your goal, it’s freaking great out here- you won’t regret it.
I really enjoyed your video. We are doing exactly what you are doing and started a channel a few months back. We are posting about our holidays at the moment but taking 4 months off next year to trial slow travel. We watch many of the videos you talked about. I look forward to seeing your journey and watching how you go. We seem to be on the same path. Tanya ❤️
I follow many of the TH-cam travel channels that you do, but have learned about some others. I loved the way you compiled the channels into categories and will be saving this video for future use. I have subscribe and will be interested to follow your process as you prepare for your full time travel in 2026.
I love this list! I follow a few of these folks, but some are new and I can't wait to check them out. I always wonder when YT serves up a new video if these people really know what they're talking about. So knowing others are trusting them is very helpful. I'm curious if you have any sites you like to use for any kind of research, whether it's figuring out where to go, what to do there, reviews, etc. And also! Have you decided what you want to do for your cell phone service? I see lots of great recs for data while travelling full time, but having a cell service that'll reliably get things like SMS and two-factor authentication from banks and retirement funds has me very nervous. Can't wait to dive into your channel!
Hi! Thanks for watching! As far as research goes, I maintain a Google Maps “Bucket List” and Microsoft OneNote notebook that I add notes and info to as I come across different articles/videos/blogs about specific destinations. When I know I’m going to a specific place, I usually start with TripAdvisor to see the top sites and restaurants. I do a TH-cam search on the destination, and an instagram search. I’ll also check out Viator to see if there are cool day trips I can take or DIY:) I also love the Facebook Group “Girls Love Travel” which has so much helpful advice. I just use the search bar and see if anyone mentions anything about my destination. As far as cell service goes…our plan is to ride out T-Mobile until they kick us off for too much international usage. At that point we’ll probably switch to e-sims! Retirement travelers have an excellent video on this you should check out: th-cam.com/video/UzGiRjb_Csw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=uoVDT-KIuVCmGGP4
Great ideas! I follow some of these already, but now have some new ones to check out!. I tend to ignore channels that are way above my budget or are only about " checking off" countries. But I will see if I can't find some good info from these sites regardless 😊 Are those travel hacking sites only geared to Americans? As a Candian travel hacking is tough. We dont have nearly the options 😢
Totally agree! I used to love putting a pin on my map…but now it’s more about quality time and experiences in a place :) And unfortunately most of these channels mention the credit cards are often only available to Americans. (Maybe 5% of the time there’s a card where they specifically mention it’s available to Canadians or Australians…but they’re definitely few and far between😢)
I watch many of the channels you mentioned and enjoy their content. But as a single 64yo woman, I would really like to see more from single travelers. Traveling as a couple is way different and doesn't really address the issues that single travelers face. Alina McLeod has a good channel but she's in her 30's. Two other channels I recommend are Jetlag Warriors and Ken Abroad.
Really surprised you didn’t mention Itchy Boots , although she is on a motorcycle, not our thing, it’s the places she goes. Back roads all over the world, currently in Turkey ,where we have driven but not on the back roads. we used her route as well as The Landy expedition for our recent 42 day 4x4 drive through Namibia. So you can get ideas, like we do from Kara and Nate. Have you seen Homemade wanderlust walk across Iceland, Fire and Ice?
Wow, a 42 day drive through Namibia sounds amazing!! We haven’t heard of any of those channels, so will definitely check them out :) Thanks for the recommendations!
@@WorldWanderersUSA liked how you broke them down into sections. I doubt many of us will be a Kara and Nate, but it’s the ideas and activities never heard about. We didn’t know about the wife carrying race in Finland-- asked a Finnish friend- yes they had done it. ! We are almost twice your age, last 15 years walking across countries, areas. Again I think not sort of your travel, another section, but you meet and see the real people. Take a look at the Gobi. Mongolia, Tasmania, Namibia. See Lord Howe Island or Chatham Islands. All the best.
Subscribed!!!! Believe I am subscriber 615. Will remind you when you get to 100,000 subs! :). Great video! GOOD LUCK with your YT channel and full time travel. Will be doing same soon but no vlogging. I totally agree with several of your travel channel recommendations and learned a lot from your suggestions. THANK YOU!!!
Hi! I have you a sub as you are 1-2 years ahead of our own travel plans. We are planning now, getting our channel ready, practicing the videos and creating a small community for when we jet off. We will have a home base in Puerto Rico and are working on finishing off that project. If it’s finished earlier then we plan on trimming our travel deadline by a year and starting to travel sooner! I wish you so much luck and can’t wait to see your videos!❤💗🇵🇷🙏🏽
So many more couples doing the full time travel onTH-cam land. It must be much easier being able to split up the travel admin and TH-cam tasks. :) I'm still finding my feet as both a TH-camr and solo full time traveler. The only other woman doing solo full time travel on YT that I know of is www.youtube.com/@WhereIsBrittany ... though special shoutout to Nora Dunn aka the Professional Hobo and Traveling with Kristin who were both full time traveling TH-camrs but I believe both are now have a home base.
That’s super cool! I’ve definitely enjoyed solo trips in the past as a female traveler, but full time solo is a lot! Will would admit he falls more in the *adds fun* category though while I take care of actual tasks 😆 We’ll have to check out those channels though :) Thanks for watching!
