Kindly clarify the inlet & outlet properly because i m seeing many people are fitting it in reverse order meaning thereby aapne jo Water source ki taraf end lagaya hai usko aksar ne tank end side laga rakha hai this has caused confusion

bhai tank se space hona chahiye tha taki filter aaram se khol sake
You should have used it in the pipe from which the water comes inside taps i.e Output pipe from tank supplying the water to house taps....
That would have restricted water flow in taps.

Yes it'll decrease the motor pressure and damage the filter net/screen more often. This is wrong way to fit it.
