I was considering making a prototype based on brutal doom and noticed your tutorial, looks exactly like what I need! I hope I can adapt it to 2.5D (2D sprites with 3D colliders in a 3D game environment) but shouldn't be too hard I guess!
This is brillant! Do you know if you can make it so only part of his head is scattered? Like you only shoot part of the head? I would love to see a tutorial fo that. Cheers mate.
You can pretty much do it the exact same way as its done here. Did you see how the head was separated? You can basically do the same thing for the head itself. So cut the head in like four parts, and make all of them separate components that you can destroy :)
Great tutorial, thanks! Any idea why mine won't explode properly? It sort of just falls apart, even though I've got rb force added to my raycast script.
click on EVERY child object and Make it RIGID and box collider ( or it will not bounce off the floor , will go right through) do THIS in your Engine , DO NOT waiste your time doing RB shit in blender , you do it in your prefab
Please can you send a download link for this project because my game is pretty similar but i can't get the enemy's to collide with the floor and i can't get my gun to move with the camera properly. Thanks
