I have several bicentennial mint sets..Thank you for the info..I also have an Eisenhower dollar's coin book that is almost full..missing the 76 varieties 1&2..and the 76s 40% silver..those are all in great shape..! Im excited to check out my mint set's.. Thank you JD..Another great video..!

How much type 2 coins
Great video. I have 300-something clad Ike's that I have found in the past year or so at banks. Have not gone through any of them for varieties yet. The type 1/type 2 variety might be a good place to start. Thanks for the Ike site & the education.

back in the 70-80's my mom worked for a Bank. She gave me a set of these. the quarter, half dollar, and dollar. they are still in the plastic/cardboard display. the cardboard is blue, with white and red stripes. at the top is says "United States Bicentennial" at the bottom it says "Silver Uncirculated Set" I actually still have the red envelope that the set came in. It says on the front "United States Bicentennial Silver Uncirculated Set 1776-1976. all of the coins have a "S" stamped on them. any info on this set would be appreciated.
Ihave some of both cions with lg letters no ment marks and som of sm letters but not sure which ones are valuebale on 1776-1976.where could i carry my cions to be sure with them getting out of my hands?
What is the value of the cameo or proof type? I just ran across a tube of them they are in perfect mirror like shape except for the top coin which seems to have been poorly handled. I am fairly new to this about 6 months now and was wondering if they were silver as well. Thanks again in advance

Hello sir if you could please help me. I recently bought a proof bicentennial s mint mark set and the eisenhower and kennedy had a very thin line of copper in both does that mean they are deff not silver.. the seller swears they could have a little in them.. Thank you very much!!

I have two type one and 1971
First I want to say the bicentennial year set is very under rated. I knew there were 8 types of the 1976 Eisenhower since I did my math over years. Not many folks care about it but in long run high grades will become in high demand. As far as Eisenhower Dollars...The 1976-S (Silver collector uncirculated mint set coin) MS68 or better very collectable. 1976-S PR70 in Silver or Clad, that's right the CLAD Type 2 in PR70 is Extremely collectable. The PR69 which I have bought several because PR69's you can find those cheap on Ebay (I think they are too cheap at time swhen they are under $25). The PR70 can be around $2000+ so there is huge gap between the grades. I have been temped to have NGC regrade my PCGS PR69's to see if I could get NGC PR70. 1976-P Type 1 highly collectable MS65 or better (NGC MS65 much cheaper than PCGS) and if you find a MS66 or better you have a real winner like he said in video The PR70 1976-S Kennedy Silver is nice one too and is a bit more affordable as well as 1976-S PR70 Silver Quarter Proof.

My question is: Should I be saving uncirculated or circulated bicentennial coins for my great-grandchildren? Likewise, should I save circulated or uncirculated State coins, SBA's, Ike's, or Kennedy's for my great-grandchildren?
I never collected coins but been keeping some over years just by chance. I have the type 1set in Silver “S” 1776-1976 that came in cellophane wrapped with Washington quarter, Kennedy 1/2 dollar and Eisenhower dollar. Are these worth a lot ? And if so how do I find out?

I have three Ike bicentennial dollar coins with block latters . How much are they worth? Also I have three or four pennies like brand new , there like shiny new gray , they have different shades of gray .wish I could talk to you and show them to you. They worth only 1.25 if they copper if it 40 percent silver then worth about 5.80bucks you could sell it at e bay
