Well I just bought 30 Ike's one day from the store and 20 another time and got I think 15 Bicentennial is all together and they got D on them and some no mint mark

I have that same coin except it’s an error! The reeding comes up on the top of the rim on the left side. And the rim is flattened in the same place on the reverse.

just looked at my recently bought collection of mint uncirculated and in packaging and this too has know s and the strike is so beautiful, in fact i think it's become my new favorite, i wished i could send you a pic but idk how on here, let me know your thoughts cause it looks just like the one your showing and the color is different from the other one i have, more of a dark silver tone

The key is that this one is a PROOF coin. Many Type 2's with no mint mark are in circulation - don't freak out like I did when you find them in your collection. Proof coins are struck twice, giving the features more definition, making details appear more intricate and resulting in an overall shiner coin.

I discovered some of these coins in silver proof has a mint mark S over D. I have three of them. They are in a set of dollar, fifty cent, and quarter.
if u got this coin in silver proof than it has a value of about 25-30$ if its regular with copper it's just 1$ face value

Just had a bicentennial dollar two days ago (very worn) in a water feature at work. Almost completely black. I turned it in with the rest of the coins as they all go to charity.

so i have one that i feel like it can't just be as simple as looking at it from the screen image in comparison to the one im holding.... because i must be wrong and jumping the gun here, where would the s be and are there any other distinctions to look for? i'm looking at the front and i don't see a stamp that indicates any mint and my back side looks the same as the still image also.... help?

I have this coin in a sealed proof set from penny up its beautiful it has an error on the letter I .looks like a Lil hole .and all the coins have a bright red metal flake glitter effect in them it's a beautiful proof set never been opened and sum of coins have s on them does that mean it's a valuable as this one..it's better looking especially with the red metal flake in it ..
