Hey Nick. Thanks for the comment. Maybe one day someone will be out there in their Jimny and use this video to change the wheel. Done, the Mo stays 😂👨🏻
Wait... so you only tighten the wheel nuts finger tight, then lower it down? Shouldn't you at least tighten them a bit with the wrench in a star pattern then give them that last little snug up when the wheel is on the ground?
I always go finger tight and then snug it up with the wrench until the wheel begins to spin and then I lower it. That's just how I like to do it but in reality his way is fine. The wheel itself isn't resting on the ground. You have the rubber tire as a buffer in between so it has some forgiveness. And most lug nuts are tapered a bit so it all pulls into place.
Personally I’ve used the wrench to tighten the wheel nuts more than finger tight in the past with previous cars. Only reason I did it this way was because I wanted to follow the steps from the manual.
Hi! Literally saved my life when my tyre decided to give out on me. Thank you so much 🙏🏾
That’s so cool to hear. I imagined someone watching this video next to the road while changing tyre.
You are a life saver. A perfect step by step!
Glad that this helped. I tried to align the steps with the owner’s manual as accurately as possible.
Did you need to change a tyre?
@@jonnosjimny I did and if had not been for your video I would have been stuck in the middle of nowhere
Good information, thank you.
Glad you found it helpful.
Thanks for all the handy safety tips! I always get stuck into the job at hand and forget all about safety! Thanks Jonno! Keep the videos rolling!
Dankie. I’m glad I can be of service. When are you going to buy a Jimny?
Nick here, Jonno - another good vid, with value for Jiminy and non-jiminy owners alike! Keep the Mo, Jo !

@@drew4561as long as I could see the wheel was pulled up against the hub I’m happy.
Nice vid man. You left out the centre cap!
True. Never even thought of it. I’m just glad the spare matches all the other wheels.
Nice video, thanks

Last jimmy l had you had to put blocks under the jack to get the tyre on as the jack wouldn’t the jack did not go high enough
Glad that isn’t an issue on the JB74. I’d be a bit disappointed
