    Great tutorial! I like the one foot rolling approach for backside grinds.

    I always thought you had to jump on to it or something else weird, great video and can't wait to get started

    This was awesome! Until recently I could not find anything like this. Would you be willing to make a v2 for soul tricks? I've been struggling since forever to stall a simple soul on coping.

    • @BladerMomBecSo
      @BladerMomBecSo  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, I find soul tricks alot more dangerous on ramp, Soul tricks on ledges are safe but its way to easy to hip a soul trick on a ramp 😅 I can but I usually avoid them for that reason!

      @@BladerMomBecSo I totally get that! It's my biggest fear in learning them, really. I've got al lot of learning material from your video, so I have a lot to do anyway. Love the progression step of riding along the grind. That's definitely where I'm at right now.

    This was great. 🔥 Hope to see many more of these! I'd like to see you break down a true top soul. Thanks!

    This is super helpful thanks. I am just back to skating for a few months after 20 years off. Always loved the halfpipe back in the day but I've been intimidated by it so far. Hoping to get back to it with this! The bowls are usually open when our park is busy!

    Love how chill you build up to it, great advice for people trying to learn. I'd love to see some tips for doing a savannah, I always seem to get myself all tangled and my body-weight wrong when I go for it.

      @BladerMomBecSo  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, I’m terrible at front savannas! Back savannas are alot easier

    • @Axle_grinds
      @Axle_grinds 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BladerMomBecSo I find them easier backside for sure. Seems easier to get myself into position for it on coping compared to rails/ledges as well for some reason

    This was a super helpful tutorial, thank you so much! I had never even thought of the 270 backside. Great tips! Do you think you could cover sometime how to handle bigger bowls with more vert?

      Thanks for the feedback! I love learning new tricks on little ramps and build up to a bigger ramp, its all the same just bigger ramps take more speed and are intimidating.

    Hey great video am on my 3rd hour of ever roller blading. Have you got any videos on how to drop in and come out of a half pipe the right way and not flying out the other end lol

    Very different approach to learning back slides then I did. I just practiced stalls and then started curving in to them. I never tried the rolling on one foot approach.

    Blader mom, u just got another fan! Keep at it, u freakin' rock!
    And also, could u do a tutorial on how to air quarters, bowls, etc? Ive seen every video available on youtube about it, by bladers, bikers, skateboarders, quad roller skaters and even scooter(ers?) but cant seem to learn this damn thing.. please help!

    • @BladerMomBecSo

      Thanks, great to hear! I cant air 1/4s too good either, hips no problem but straight up/down on a 1/4 feels aukward, ask the inline brothers channel, I’m sure they know the secret, they can air vert no problem!

    Hey. Thanks the tips. I was wondering. I've always skated my Aeons flat and love them but have never been able to grind. I tried my daughter's anti's from a pair of used Genesys Jr's but the Skating experience was horrible. I really want to learn to grind so is it worth picking up some proper anti's? Are the correct type a better ride?

    • @BladerMomBecSo
      @BladerMomBecSo  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Harder uhmw antis like 5050, moonshine or slicks will feel more solid and slide better than the ones that come stock on razors. It’l take about 10 mins rolling about ramps to adjust to the turning ratio of skating 2 wheels down but once you try stalls you’ll notice you can lean on them unlike flat where you have to avoid them

  • @aegiDiusMrChef

    hm, is it better to "UFO" backside grind to slider longer or is that just ur style?
    But good tip with the angle, will try to make mine longer now and push more into it, my way is to tilt the heel a little bit so it's only on the H-block, maybe i'm wrong..

    • @BladerMomBecSo
      @BladerMomBecSo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Maybe its just how I grind, I like to lean back so I’m sliding on my anti rockers as well as the h block, my back wheels aren’t touching. Good luck
