The last item you unwrapped was from me. Valerie Raymond , Instead of donating to a charity, I went into the auction for the Rush -Last Tour in support of my local hospital which is raising money for updating and expanding. It was last rebuilt in 1967. It came to me and I didn't unpack it and I sent it to you as I received it. There is also another box to be opened with items for the children and yourself. Love you guys and your family.

First off, Valerie...it's a wonderful thing with you supporting your local hospital! Add to it that the gift you sent on to Jay & Amber is stunning in it's contents and subject. As a teen I went to three Rush concerts for different album tours. I'm a HUGE Rush fan and just seeing your gift was a big treat for me. And it's very obvious how much Jay & Amber love it.
So nice of you. I'm an older woman loving going back with so many of these songs. Watching this family react gives me hope for out future. Your kindness does too
@@carolynussery8189 I'm an older guy. Being nice, kind, and a good natured gentleman is how it was, back when we were being raised up. Pointing out worthy good deeds, and charitable moments, is second nature to many of us who grew up with music of the 70's and 80's. John Cougar Melloncamp with Farm Aid, George Harrison with his families work with UNICEF to help children caught up in natural and civil disasters, and least we forget Live Aid or We Are The World..?

After calling my grown up youths lame for years, they finally convinced me to check out this TH-cam stuff a few months ago. I'm kind of hooked on "Channel" surfing now. Yours is one of the Channels I enjoy. Mostly because it's kind of neat to experience music through others, but because you two fit well together.
I came kicking and screaming to you tube near the start of the pan demic. I have been hooked ever since. This is one of the first channels I came across.
I'm 49 years old, and am a huge TH-cam surfer, especially now that I can watch on my TV.
@@robinmills8675 Crazy, yeah? I always saw TH-cam as kid stuff, yet here I am enjoying it. You can find history content, economic content, tons of music content, etc. It's all so positive. Except for the Marvel/DC Channels. They really want me to hate what I like all the time. This Rob Squad couple is just all about celebrating good creativity. I made all my of-age kids subscribe.

I agree. I burned out on every other reaction channel, but Rob Squad got it right: great variety of songs, beautiful couple, adorable children, and just genuinely nice people. I feel like Jordan could bring the family here to Cincy for a Bengals game and I could easily spend an afternoon hanging with them and talking music. They're just down to earth, good people.

The Rush "art work" is the cover art from the "Moving Pictures" album. That was the first CD I ever bought, when I converted from cassette tapes to CD's.
I enjoy these kind of videos they remind me of what it was like being a young married couple and family with kids. Im 53 and my son is now 30 with a 2 year old of his own so yeah that makes me a grandpa.. God bless you and your lil one's. ...

That framed Rush picture is the cover of their 8th album titled "Moving Pictures". There is a three way joke with the cover art... the movers are literally Moving the Pictures... then the people standing to the side watching the paintings go by are Moved emotionally by the pictures... and if you flipped the album over to look at the back of the album you could see a Movie company filming the moving of the pictures so they are making a 'Moving Picture'. The pictures you see are from left to right Joan of Arc being burned at the stake... Dogs Playing Poker... and the last is called the Starman Logo which was used on the cover of their album 2112.

Oh my gosh -- how is it that coincidences pop up like this?-- I just bought a little dinnerware set for my nieces Birthday Sunday Aug 21 and it has a Yellow Submarine on it and I couldnt resist it because thats a song I sang to my kids when they were babies a long time ago -- Ive had Yellow Submarine running through my head for the past week since I got her the gift -- And now you have got a copy of the film! -- I hope you all enjoy it -- Its a bit trippy but visually interesting and of course the music -- I used to draw Blue Meanies and the Dreadful Flying Glove and big fat font letters all over my notebooks and book covers when I was teenager -- you will have to react the film for us
