What is historical is that Mohammed is NOT the founder of the ancient religion that he renamed Islam. The Kaaba, The Book of Kore,(Koran),all of the Islamic holy rites and customs pre-date Mohammed. It was the African deity Kore/Al-Uuzza whose two black doves, along with the many African matriarchal ancestral images that inhabited the Kaaba.
Love this, I've been to Ephesus/Efes in Turkey, I've seen ancient buildings with heads of Medusa to ward off people, seen the carvings of the Amazons with Achilles, they have the Black Madonna there too but I didn't get to find it. But they did have a statue of a Dark Mother, in a dimly lit room, barely visible. Artemis is all over.
