My mom's dad was completely bald from hair loss before he hit 50. So growing up, I had long amazingly thick hair. So thick, every time I got a haircut, the barber, no matter who it was, would make a comment about how they'd never seen such thick hair. Anyways, I was told to enjoy it because some day it would be gone. Fast forward to now, I'm in my 40s, and going grey, but still get the "my god, you have such thick hair!" when I go to a new hair stylist.
My dad just broke into his 70s and has a full head of hair. Guess I got his genes and not my mom's dad's when it comes to the hair. Thank the lord!

I laugh when people say shaving makes you grow facial hair thicker and faster. I started growing facial hair the same age as all my frieds and thus started shaving at the same rate as them... after shaving for 30 years i bet i have shaved more than they have because they all have beards and i would look rediculous if i didnt shave.
