I had a woman who said she had a "new argument" for Christianity and it was a Ken Ham speech from at least the 90s. So I said fossils are not billions of dead things, buried in rock layers laid down by water all over the Earth.
She looked at me horrified and I said "Demonic knowledge, I am literally Satan" clearly joking but I think it triggered too much cognitive dissonance as she just walked away.

I love the fact that Aron Ra just keeps at it, day after day.
I think it's urgently necessary to keep fighting ignorance every single day, afresh, and not rely on old statements.
You could rest on your many brilliant statements and arguments, but you understand that you need to take this ignorance on in real time, every day
You are appreciated for your efforts and intelligence, every day and for each moment you design to share them with us.
    Thanks, Aron.

I agree, doesn't Ra understand this or does he like to hear himself Blather? His cosmology is terrible as his thermodynamics. For evolution their is plenty of scientific evidence, but for anything at or before the big bang there is NO scientific evidence, all these conjectures about what the big bang was or what existed before it is pure philosophy, sorry. Ask your "cosmologist friends" this, they will tell you their is no evidence for their conjectures about before the big-bang.
And holy sh**, your answer about the anthropic principle is ridiculous.Forget about human beings, that any life exists in a random manifestation of a universe is astronomically rare. Here you must resort to a multi-universe conjecture. If you need any help writing your responses just ask.

A post on Threads asked if an atheist could explain why a grapefruit doesn't taste like chocolate, like it's a gotcha. Well, I am an atheist but also hold a university degree in food science, so my reply was that they have different chemical compositions, which is science and nothing to do with atheism.
I didn't have sufficient remaining characters to explain how those different chemicals react with receptors in the nose and mouth to send signals to the brain that are interpreted as the sensation of taste.

My brother is a scientist and also has a business that deals with flavoring agents. Once he started describing the molecular composition of the compounds he was buying and how sometimes there’s just few carbon atoms differently placed in the molecular chain between, say, vanilla and mint. I don’t remember the exact example but the point was that it wasn’t just different composition, it was a tiny difference that our senses interpret as a completely different flavor.

Gotcha questions like that expose the ignorance and insincerity of the asker.
If you answer the first question it can lead to a string of How abouts and What ifs that eventually lead to the beginning of time or abiogenesis.
You have an expertise. So they'll usually get a legit answer in your field then jump to something you can't answer authoritatively .
Kent 'Dr Dino' Hovind is a master of this.
And any We don't know = their god.

As a Christian myself I do find these sort "questions" dishonest, loaded with gotcha intentions and very deceitful. I believe because I believe, and I thank the atheists out there for respecting that as much as I respect theirs; but to go and have the pretense that Christians know all the answers and present questions with the intention that atheists are stupid is just downright conceited. No-one has all the answers and the honest position has always been the "I don't know" standpoint. People like this is what makes us believers look dishonest, stupid and malicious (and yes there are some out there, just reading the comments from so-called Christians), and for that I do apologize. He would just design them both in such a way that they don't threaten each other. The fine tuning argument is the one that I always found most BS from believers.
If I, designer, want to reach a certain goal, I would set up a system so that my goal would be a common occurrence in that system. Yet life in the universe is very very very rare and it needs that an incredible number of things to go right for it to happen. We are the only intelligent spieces of our solar system and there are no other on sights. Very simple life MIGHT exists in the depths of the oceans of Europa and Enceladus, but we're not sure. There are far far more common events in the Universe (like Supernovae, for example), so why not saying that the universe is fine-tuned for those?
If there really is this intelligent being and humanity was its goal, then why are we so incredibly rare? If this "deity" couldn't do differently because of consmologic constants, it means there's something that holds a higher "hierarchical position" than him, then why not worshiping those constants instead of the deity that's below them?
If this deity didn't have to abide by the constants and just chose the Universe to be this way, why creating this system that not only is needlessly convoluted, but also makes things so this "goal" is an improbable occurrence?
Either we were not the goal of this deity, or, more likely, there's no such thing as a deity, no fine-tuning either, and our existence is just one consequence, among many others that don't hold more nor less value than us, of the fact that the Universe is the way it is.
We are a byproduct of the Universe's laws, not a cause of it. the Fine tuning argument sounds just baseless antropocentrism to me.

If the universe is fine-tuned for anything, it's for the production of black holes and their eventual dispersion into an increasingly empty and flat space-time. This was one of the channels that helped reinforce my breaking away of Christianity. Since I’ve broken away, I’ve become much more interested in the beginnings of our universe, where we came from, the different eras our earth went through before we came along, and so much more that I never even gave a thought to while I was a believer. I’ve also reinforced my faith in myself. I used to question whether anything I did was my own doing or out of fear of God. Now I can assure myself that every action I take, every time I help others, that’s me choosing to help others, not me being obedient to avoid punishment. So I do thank you for taking so much time to debunk these absurd gotcha questions in the hope that even just one person can finally accept the truth, because some time ago, I was that one person
