Lateef's portrait makes me think of "Ezra Bridges" from "Star Wars Rebels".
For some reason, what I really like about him is that his names kind of sounds like saying "the thief" with some wierd "french" pronounciation, lol!
Love this! I believe Lamp Lighters were (maybe still are) people in intelligence gathering whose job is to "light lamps" for operatives in the field, i.e. make sure there's accommodations like safe houses, food and materials. But I may be wrong.
The combatant enforcers seem more capable than the grunts. We're not sure whether to chalk it up to training or stricter mind control

Really surprised and impressed by this game. The first episode convinced me to buy it, and when I played this mission earlier the map was completely different. I hadn't released that it used procedurally generated maps which will definitely give it some replay value and keep it fresh! Love it so far!
Any bets on whether Lateef will swing from a bullwhip at some point? I mean, he seems like the kind of guy who'd try that...
@21 minutes I guess this answers the question "what kind of idiots hide behind explosive barrels?" (Eddie & Ingrid) :D I just pre-ordered the game after watching you play, already intrigued by the demo and this really sold it to me.
ps. I think with the big bunch of enemies around the barrel a firebomb followed by a smoke bomb to blind from Lateef and then Lateef's signature ability would have worked great - blinding the enemies makes it harder for them to hit the decoy, making it last longer, and allows the rest of your team to act freely.
Edit: Locke had a conversation marker on him at the end that you didn't click. :(
I think I prefer the "kill cam" view for cinematic purposes. Makes it more like a movie in my eyes. Great episode though!
This gets interesting by the second!!! Lots of cool elements to inspire new ideas for desining some stuff for my TTRPG group. I'm sure they're going to love them! Thanks for the amazing content, Odd!!! 😁

Pleaae use their stealth stuff more. You said it isn't a stealth game, but if you never do them just so you can have harder fights thats not more interesting.
