Why you can't get anyone to drill for oil on your property.

Just because you want someone to drill for oil or gas on your property doesn't mean that it will ever happen. There may not be economically recoverable hydrocarbons on your land. And even if there is, there might be a better place to drill. It's really up to the energy company to determine where to drill new wells.
