2023 David J. Rose Lecture in Nuclear Technology

On September 22, 2023, the Department of Nuclear Science and Engineering at MIT hosted Rafael Mariano Grossi, the IAEA’s Director General, who spoke about IAEA’s unique role, cutting across science, international security and development, and what it means amid today’s challenges, ranging from poverty, disease and hunger to energy insecurity, global warming and war.
