For anyone confused, Neith's ult doesn't interact with weaves. It used to when she was first released in Smite 1 but then they changed it. This was just a bug they hotfixed pretty quickly.
Honestly, I would mind this to be implemented as long as it's a small radius around the target, maybe Scylla aoe root size or even smaller. I would make Neith's team fight potential so much better
The same happened to me, my Neith ulty definitely hit 2 ppl. I was surprised and checked in the combat log. I thought there was weave that exploded, since in Smite1 you could target weave at some point. Although ulty description doesn't say anything, maybe it's added mechanic that was not described. I was not able to recreate it, I tried different scenarios in practice and nothing worked. Watching this clip, there was for sure NO weave on that spot (he put 2 in the middle of lane), so I am not sure what triggers AOE aspect.
After the patch the game felt alot more fun, but the only thing that ruins it slightly are my teammates, I just can't get into diamond... I belong in obsidian, if not master. Barely made it through gold 1 / plat 3 threshold, my god.. Not a single warhorn capture, or a sunder relic either. I even get it as a jungler and forfeit beads/blink. 😶

Base aoe but it was unintended and has already been hot fixed out of the game.
