My brother is being torn apart by his wife. He’s a commercial pilot, a kind and hardworking man who gave everything to his wife and their life together. But for her, even his success and sacrifices weren’t enough. Now, she’s filed for divorce, falsely accusing him and our family of horrific crimes to demand an outrageous alimony, twisting the law for her greed.
I’ve never seen him this broken, and it’s killing me. He doesn’t deserve this. None of us do. Watching him suffer is unbearable, and I’m terrified of what lies ahead.
How can someone destroy another person so easily? How is this fair? I just want my brother’s life back.

    Justice for Atul Subhash!
I believe the time has come for the Indian Judiciary and IPC to stand beside the men (especially the ones who suffer incessantly by keeping mum against their harassers) too.
The cases of Wives and their Families taking undue advantage of 498A have become rampant in middle-class societies (especially in Urban India).
I personally know so many men who were advised by lawyers not to go to police stations and file complaints against their harassing wives and their relatives because that would also go against them.

Hi Very Happy you are fighting for justice. My son going through divorce is facing same issues. Based on the laws the woman at fault is also supported by laws, lawyers and the judges themselves. In actuality the laws don’t insist on the alimony. The judges are erring. Unfair judgements . Please fight for a justice where the alimony will be based on the number of years they lived together. After living for one year they demand crores. And the amount to help as alimony should not be for life time. If you live for one year together get only one years support through divorce. The lawyers have agreement to take a huge chunk of the money from the woman and so they fight vigorously. All this must be looked into.

Pre marriage agreements and society parameters need to put in place.
I remember that the whole community came to see what was gifted to the daughter by the family and in event of a situation of seperation ,the agreement to part with the balanced verdict of the elders.
Now days its sad but truth
The lawyers dictate the matter, purely with commercial attitude....
Their fees also are a percentage of the recievables...
May be all are not but sufficient data from divorces is there to project this truth.

In Atul Subash’s case and thousand others - Fault is with Indian Police and Judiciary system. They are the sole responsible for Atul’s death and thousands others every year. His wife and other shameless women are simply using the existing laws for their convenience. In divorce battles nothing is spared just like in real battles. It’s the duty of judiciary system to resolve the divorce cases in a set limited time and award a gender neutral justice. What sin did Atul committed to take away his son and award custody completely to his wife and her family? Think about it again, Judges killed him not his wife.

If women is educated, she has to earn her bread instead of trying to plan to take money, this is more than begging. The women should not have any powers to take alimony until unless men has demanded for dowry at the time of wedding. The person who gets the child to take care off in the divorce cases should bare the expenses if both of them are NOT already in extra marital affairs and both the men and women should be made responsible to take care of the child alternatively till be age of 16 when the child can decide whom he/she can live with.

This is very sad - only real perpetrators whether men or women must be punished. Can the Indian Courts start appointing private investigators to investigate at the Court's cost to find the real situation, instead of relying on what the person is alleging? Then when the truth is found out, the person lying must bear the cost of private investigator fees.

The truth is that the lawyers themselves put false allegations to win the case and if we protest they say otherwise the judge won't do what we demand. The allegations have to be really cruel to implicate the other party. Basically its the greed of lawyers that is causing majority of problems. They know the laws and should give the right counsel but they themselves make the problems worse by advocating wrong things. Indian lawyers are not equipped to help their clients properly in majority of cases. As Subhash stated that particular judge has to be put in prison to give right message to the judiciary and public too.
