I've been to this C&C several times over the last few years and this is the first time I've ever heard of this happening. The guy who puts this together is really good about keeping the peace and 99% of people respect the rules. Don't let this be your deciding factor for this meet.
I went there with my friend a couple of months ago for the first time, we saw some teenager step out in traffic in front of a Cayman, it was only going about 5-10 mph and he spit on the car. Needless to say, it was enough to create a scene and we got threatened by some Karen that we would be banned for creating a crowd. I don’t really plan to go back ever, except for maybe earlier in the morning if I can get in and out before all the people get there.

Most people who've never been to this Cars and Coffee don't realize that it's held right next to an outlet mall in San Clemente. Most of the people there are not there for the Cars and Coffee but are merely there to shop and just enjoy their Saturday with their family. He was likely not even part of the car meet up & this clown started revving his engine super loud like some of them do and most of the people don't appreciate it not to mention there is a residential area right across the street. Furthermore I'm part of this Cars and Coffee and one of the big rules is not to rev loud or do burnouts. So he was way out of line. And you need to get your facts straight before making ignoring comments like that.

I'm not rich but had a nice high performance boat stored outside with a bunch of older ones. Someone keyed the whole side into the gelcoat. The responding cop said probably just some jealous people as I had no enemies I was aware of . Sad when people do stuff like that.
