Even a Beyonce fan would have to admit Angelina has better vocals. That's not a knock on her, rather how good Angelina is.
IMO, Angelina’s highly developed musical intellect, instincts and intuition allow us to hear the perfect interpretation of the lyrics, especially given that pianist, Toby Gad co-wrote this song and intimated that he loves Angelina’s rendition.
She has made 3 other versions of this song thart I prefer to this version. More intimate versions.

A cover only in the sense that what Beyoncé made was a cover of the song written by BC Jean and Toby Gad, originally performed by Jean in 2008. Beyoncé's cover was that same year.
Toby Gad's the Piano Diaries are a celebration of his hit songs. He invited Angelina to England with him to perform .. this is the seventh version I have heard.
I am not sure if it is really a cover when a singer is standing next to the composer as they jam to create a different version of the song. Think about it. The composer is on the steady cam. They WORKED together ... singer and composer. Nope. Not a cover even of the BC Jean version.

This video ended at Brick Lane and Chesire in London a few kilometers from the Tower bridge. I am 81 years (young) and living in Central Texas. For me this is very picturesque and interesting. And this version of the song is the most upbeat of the several versions Angelina and Toby have performed. The others are slower and more soulful, and each has its charm. Thanks for your thoughtful reaction. By way of contrast, you should listen to a new original song by Angelina and Toby called Bad Valentine...it will rock you!
FYI, this version is the exact same speed as the version filmed in the church as it uses the exact same vocal track. It just seems faster because of the different instrumentation.used and the fact that Angelina is continuously walking in the video. If you time both versions from beginning of singing to the end they are exactly the same time wise.
Now the other actual live performances may be at different speeds including the “a cappella” version.that was recently released.
The soulfulness comes from deep within her and it transforms into the purest form of love when we listen to her sing and her love touches our hearts.

To be fair, there’s no version that a reactor “should have done”. Besides, with several versions available, how is a reactor to know which some may consider to be the “right” version. It’s all a matter of personal taste anyway..
