Animal Agriculture has the biggest negative impact on our planet and it breaks my heart most people don't want to have that conversation or react angrily. Instead billions of people want to say "aww this is sad" but do nothing to change their personal actions. The generation to come is screwed and it's so unfair to the kids and future kids people love to bring into this world.
Exactly. Lets not forget that the study that says animal agriculture is ''only'' responsible for 18% of carbon emmision is funded by 2 mayor companies that work for animal agriculture.

@@TheDanagames It's really scary how powerful the AG industry is. From our governments to our medical and educational institutions, the AG industry has money invested in lying to the public on how animals are treated and the devasting consequences it has on them, us and our planet,
I would encourage you to do more research instead of saying things that enforce your view. There have been many things said, not backed by science, saying animal agriculture is destroying the planet. Animal agriculture is actually a part of having a sustainable planet. The report that came out that animal agriculture has more ghg emissions than transportation was later found to be very false. Not to mention, animal agriculture today is more sustainable than it has ever been before. Much of the rangeland worldwide is unable to be used by humans for consumption, but cattle are able to digest cellulose from grasses and turn it into a nutrient rich product. I encourage you to look at scientific articles, not just the opinions of people online. Over the last few years people have bashed on animal agriculture, instead of looking at the main causes of ghg emissions. This way of farming is way different than factory farming, which is where the bad reputation of animal agriculture comes from. Smaller family farms keep being forced to either get bigger or get out. Many small farms especially dairy farms have been forced to sell out in the last few years. Traditional farmers are some of the hardest working people you will ever meet.

The pandemic shows that we can change in a short matter of time, but why can’t we treat global warming (which is a more serious matter) as seriously as the pandemic?
Because the pandemic wasn’t really why they forced us to make change. It’s quite obvious when you consider there out other issues causing more death that are overlooked each and everyday that could’ve been solved with not even half the total amount of money the world spent during the pandemic.

It's a sad thing to say, but the penguins are doomed; the warming climate can't be reversed.Soon all the sea ice will be gone, and them with it.
But before they have disappeared, there will be a lot of suffering for them; those chicks, starving for most of their young lives before they will drown, because they haven't had time to grow their adult feathers before the winter sea ice melted.
The sad story of this iconic animal, one among many others unfortunately, should be a wake up call to all of us to change our ways before it's our turn to endure the same fate.
This is why I doubt that this year won't get any better.

Towing artificial ice on boat to the natrual ice at antarctica would be a temporary solution, one that would cost alot of money. But the root cause of climate change can not be solved by this, to do that, their needs to be a large scale decrease in carbon dioxide production, from industry sectors like manufacturing, construction and agriculture. It's truely difficult, and i dont expect climate change to stop unless there is a great tipping point like another world war which would cause a good number of there industries to shut down temporarily. I hope antarctica can recover just like the forests of Chernobyl where human activity was largely removed, allow plants and animals to move back in.
