You should’ve used a plastic pry tool to avoid scratches as it’s clearly seen on the body

Small hole in the middle. Lever the edges of the hole out and spray WD40 in it. Wait 5 minutes and it should fall off. Clean residue thoroughly. Stick new bagde on. No scratches no damage.

I did mine today by drilling through the center of the F .....then sticking a screwdriver through the drilled ho[e in the badge to lever it off. It pinged off in an instant with the adhesive strip,,,,,no heat required

So you've paid 25 quid for a shiny new badge but screwed up your paintwork in the process... Wow.
Can you show us how to fix a puncture for your next one, or change brake pads. I'd love to see how those end.

Use the hot air gun first to ease removal of the old badge. And of course use plastic pry tools.

Just tried this on my fiesta which has the three prongs on the rear of the badge, not easy so can understand why paintwork was scratched! There’s no space to knock it out from behind the plastic boot cover either. Plastic pry tool probably best bet in hindsight. Good effort mate

Индус обосрал багажник, варварски ковыряя его отвёрткой, вместо того чтобы просто подложить под неё пару ненужных дисконтных карт.
Аудитория в комментариях не лучше - предлагает использовать пластиковый инструмент 😁

Hello, I wonder do my focus 2011 Titanium have those holes beneath sign. I want to replace old one, but not sure- some new signs for focus have 3 or so needles on sign with sticky gel, and some have only sticky gel?
    Thanks, for any info

Can anyone tell does all Focus mk3 2011 manual transmission have same rear bedge, in terms of fixing points? Some logos I found on internet have only flat background with sticky gel, others have one or two different fixing anchors beside gel, so I am confused which one to get for reinstall? Thanks

Screwdrivers are for screws and nothing else.

So you don't show how to remove the old badge. What a waste of time.

I can help. You stick the screwdriver in - between badge and paintwork - and then you pry like hell. It fucks up the paintwork real well. Guy is a clown.. but seems really nice :-)

Its why most take these badges off as they're awful and don't last long, why would anyone pay £30 for a Ford badge just for it to fade after probably a few month again? don't think any Ford i have owned has had a decent looking fear Ford badge, people should avoid jetwashing and scrubbing the badges when washing the car thats how my rear one pretty much flaked to bits.

Worse tool you could have used should have used a plastic trim tool or kit saving you scratching the paint work with a metal knife or blade 😢
