Ban Non Wat: a discussion about community and archaeology

In this short video Ajarn Puangtip Kerdsap and Mrs Nuanprang Baekhunthod (head of Ban Non Wat village) discuss archaeology and community at BNW. Archaeological research has been ongoing at Ban Non Wat since 2002 (begun by Prof Charles Higham and team). Ongoing work is being led by a joint team from James Cook University, The Fine Arts Department of Thailand, Kasetsart University and Southern Cross University.
This decade of work has had impacts on, and outcomes for, the people of Ban Non Wat. More recently the local Nakhon Ratchasima Rajhabhat University has become involved in community development and other projects centred on Ban Non Wat.
