Spot on. The EDT is my favorite designer fragrance. Whenever I wear it I'm happy all day. The scent keeps going and going and the wafts of orange and vetiver smell so good and high quality. It's my "I don't know what to wear today" and I'm always glad I made the choice. Amazingly my first bottle was a gift, many months later I still thank that person every time I see her as it's truly a life changer to find the perfect scent. She is not a frag head but said she tried out many, and TdH was the best. I told her she has exquisite taste.

It's so funny because it's also my "I don't know what to wear today" fragrance !

Intense Vetiver for me please. I do agree that it is a rather secluded fragrance, but in quite a sophisticated, elegant and classy way. I believe it is the most charismatic of the lot. I do like the smoky incense vibe it gives off, as it adds amazing character to the fragrance. I believe it is a rather bold fragrance for the confident personality. I was not sold on the EDT as I thought it is sharp. The EDP is a bit tame and metallic. The Fraîche is rather appealing. I believe I will get it for the summer. Thanks for the fascinating review on one of my favorite fragrance. Keep up the good work.

Wow, this was great. I've watched a few other videos goving over this, and they were helpful, but your description of the main EDT scent and comparisons of the different versions made the most sense of all of them so far.
I have 8ml samples of the EDT and Parfum at the same time now (after having had 2ml samples of each in the past) and I'm finally trying to decide which I prefer and why. I'm leaning Parfum.

Loved your take on one of the most iconic Fragrance lines out there.
I own the EDT, EDP, and the Eau Tres Fraiche versions. Although all of them are special, but personal favs (in order) For me:
    1. EDT -> Most reached for and versatile,
    2. Eau Tres Fraiche -> Most uplifting and natural smelling zingy orange peel,
    3. EDP -> dense and smoot, opening is a bit harsh.
Would add in the Vetiver version soon too to my collection! Thanks for this video Clemence, cheers!

    Bonjour Bonjour or
    "Hallo" aus Deutschland 😀.
In the first minutes I like the Edt a lot but after 15 minutes I get rid of the pepper.
Yesterday I tested the Vetiver-Version in the shop. I like it better. Not as much pepper as the Edt but also punchy.
I also tested the parfum. It's more rounded lovely. It also hasn't so much pepper as the Edt. Smells really nice.
I think I like the vetiver the most.
    Have a nice day, Clemence

Dear Clemence Thank you very much for this unique presentation of a fragrance which until today I had not really appreciated. I additionally sampled both the Un Jardin Sur Le Nil and Sur Le Toit and while initially liked these best, went back to the original scents as the drydown progressed.
I’m afraid the EDT didn’t quite last on me but the standout item was the Intense Vetiver which at this time of writing is likely to be my next fragrance purchase. Firstly, I was blown away by the citric rush of the grapefruit and lemon followed by Sichuan Pepper and the mysterious and uplifting quality of the dry, grassy Vetiver, which differs from the dark smoky ones I had previously encountered. This was to my mind, the finest, most polished, best-crafted and distinctive expression of Vetiver I have in my limited experience, come across.

I have all 4 of them plus eau givree. I'm sad they discontinued the eau tres fraiche. Is there an other similar fragrance like it on the marked? because the eau givree while being good on its self, its not the same as eau tres fraiche. For me the original EDT is best too. The intense vetiver I struggle appreciating it. The opening is strong and in my experience a little stinky. When dried down it gets better.

@@290revolver290 I really enjoy them both. I spray the parfum first, and layer the EDT with it. The EDT is crisper and more flinty. The parfum lingers longer. I can't smell much after a few hours, but others notice it. I think my brain blocks it out after a while tbh. If i could only have one, I'd choose EDT for it's beginning to end note changes and fresher crispier scent. Again, I love both.

@@hiramstwin2690 Thank you so much for this, I truly appreciate it. I have the EDT but a lot of reviews online and offline say the Parfum has a deeper and rounder feel to it, so I feel I'm missing out. That's why I asked you about them. And since you enjoy both, I guess I'll enjoy them both too.

@@290revolver290 You're welcome. Yes, deeper and rounder is a perfect way to describe the parfum. You can tell they are the same at their core, but the edt takes you on more of a journey. The parfum jumps straight to the end, but with a little more punch. Hope you like the parfum! Cheers!

@@hiramstwin2690 Hold on, you said something that stopped me on my tracks; "the EDT takes you more on a journey..." That's exactly what I like and want. That means I don't need the Parfum at all. Meaning I already have what I want. I was thinking the Parfum takes you further on the journey the EDT stopped at. I'm glad I had this conversation with you on this topic. Thank you again.

I received a sample of this from Nordstrom 2 years ago. I really like it and want to buy a full size bottle but I don’t even know which one I have if its EDP or EDT bec I don’t have the packaging that came with the sample anymore. But I love the pencil shaving scent in the opening. I’m not sure if that is the pepper. I dont know which one to buy now. I don’t want to use up my sample bec one day when Nordstrom opens, I’m gonna bring it with me and ask them which one it is. 🤔

Put the EdP on just to watch the video for the full immersive experience. I find the Eau Tres Fraiche has a cumin note come out on my skin quite quickly which is frustrating as I don't feel cumin is much of a 'fresh' note. I've ended up settling on the EdP as my main choice.

I like to sometimes layer equal parts Eau d’Hermès (1951), Eau d’Orange Verte (1951/1979) and Terre d’Hermès Eau Très Fraîche (2014). Unlike my efforts at combining other fragrances (which have often been disastrous) these three don’t clash or compete with one another. They come together to create a unique synergistic effect on the skin - an olfactory alchemy that is greater than the sum of its parts. I feel that the combination brings out the best elements created by the two greatest parfumeurs of the House of Hermès: Edmond Roudnitska and Jean-Claude Ellena.

Eau Fraiche is a special fragrance refreshing and watery yet exhibits warmth in the mid to dry down. It exudes both class and sophistication and has the ability to perfectly complement upscale casual and formal occasions especially in mild, warm and hot weather....quite an admirable quality in a fragrance. Its also very easy to wear, inoffensive and has surprising longevity due to iso e super in the dry down. The EDT which I also have is a wonderful composition, a fragrance masterpiece that is unique and complex in its scent profile, but for me, it is not at all easy to wear. For that reason Eau Fraiche is my preference for most occasions.
