    It genuinely makes you happy when you fix a piece. I see your smirks when the piece powers up and is fixed. That means you are taking pride in what you do and you enjoy it.

    I did some SMD-soldering by now and imho you can't use too much flux. I totally agree with alex that flux can make the difference between a good and a bad connection and when in doubt: Use more flux!

    I see when you clean up after every job you use the brush and that paper it looks like wax paper what is that.
    Loving these videos it's like when I was in college come in for a seminar on how things are done and get real world experience from a professional who has seen it and built the database of knowledge from the field.

    You can never have to much flux for soldering, as demonstrated solder will not flow and blob without it. These fixes are always a great example on how to do it right and do a great job and I quote 'Better than factory!'.

    You really do a fantastic job! When you pull the board out from the microscope to clean it you can really get a good view of just how small those components are. You must have very steady hands to be able to set that capacitor back in place.

    Low charging amperage on _very_ drained lipo batteries is normal. Most battery protection circuits won't allow normal charge current until the voltage goes above undervoltage protection level again, commonly between 3.1 and 3.25 volts.

      In an 8-layer board, a trace between two blind vias burns and destroys that part of the motherboard. The only visible symptom is a microscopic bump on the motherboard. You have no schematic, no board diagram.

    • @em0_tion
      @em0_tion 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You replace the chip on a perfectly good and working device and if it still works with the new chip, you can trust the vendor ;)

      @@em0_tion I have not a identical device to do this try

    • @em0_tion
      @em0_tion 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@giuliocarlini6681 Well you need a probable cause in order to suspect this chip needs replacing in the first place. Just like Hussein in this video. He noticed flickering which led to him to believe the M92 chip is faulty and also checked to see if caps next to are being shorted. That's what, combined with his previous experience, told him that he needs to try and replace it. It's also why after a previous such replacement he replaced the chip a second time with one from a different vendor and had success, so he knew the chip from his first vendor was no good. You just follow your own logic in the specific repair.
