Caramel Apple Cinnamon Roll Cake - So Moist & Irresistible!

- Ingredients:

For the Cake:
2 green apples
40g powdered sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
50g walnuts or pecans
3 eggs
200g sugar
100ml oil
200ml milk
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tsp vanilla
310g flour
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
For the Caramel Sauce:

200g sugar
50ml water
200ml whipping cream
Instructions:
-------------------------
For the Cake:
Prepare the apples: Peel and dice the green apples. Toss them with powdered sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
Mix the wet ingredients: In a bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar, oil, milk, vinegar, and vanilla until smooth and well combined.
Combine the dry ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Make the batter: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until smooth.
Layer the cake:
Grease and flour your baking pan.
Pour a layer of the cake batter into the pan.
Add a layer of the prepared apple mixture on top of the batter.
Pour another layer of batter over the apples.
Repeat with another apple layer, and finish with a final layer of batter. This will create a marble effect when baked.
Bake: Bake at 180°C for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool completely before adding the caramel sauce.
For the Caramel Sauce:

Melt the sugar: In a saucepan over medium heat, add the sugar and water. Stir occasionally until the sugar dissolves and turns a golden caramel color.
Add the cream: Slowly pour in the whipping cream while stirring continuously. Be careful, as it may bubble up.
Cool and serve: Let the caramel sauce cool slightly, then pour it over the cooled cake.

What size tin did you use? Could you use a different tin as I don't have a bundt tin. Valerie.
Hi Valerie! 😊 I used a standard 10-inch (25 cm) bundt tin for this recipe. If you don’t have a bundt tin, no worries! You can use a round or square cake tin (9-inch/23 cm works well). Just make sure to grease and flour the pan thoroughly to prevent sticking. The baking time might vary slightly, so keep an eye on it and test with a toothpick to ensure it’s fully baked.
