If I fit new sinks to new worktops this is a no brainer, they are so easy to fit and make for such a good job, I would not use the old clips but a few important things to note I only fit to new worktops, I would not use a jigsaw to hack out the opening required, I use tracks with plunge saw for the perfect finish.
Always use a tap base support or make a reinforced panel to ensure the tap is fixed solid and not flexing on the stainless sink.
Before anyone thinks about fitting a new sink into an old worktop its vital all apertures and dimensions have been checked to ensure you are not going to be left with gaps.
The most important thing is patience and double check before cutting anything. :-)

As Timonious G said these Franke clip in sinks are appalling knowing what l know now good old fashioned clips from now on BTW l bought. Franke due to the poor quality of the B&Q Cooke & Lewis tops....fitted a C & L one a few months ago and the are so thin the taps wave all over despite fitting an extended reinforced base to the underneath of the taps

If replacing a sink, do NOT buy one of these clip-in sinks; I got 8 hours invested and still can't get it to fit into the old hole correctly. What a nightmare! Cut a little here, then there and nope, this corner is now off. Gone through two tubes of caulk, all of which is either on my floor or wrapped in drenched towels.
