Mr Woo, You can also tell the y intercept by looking at the polynomial's factored form. When its in factored form just multiply the constants in each bracket to determine the y intercept. For example : (x - 2)(x + 1)(x + 3)
    y intercept : -2 × 1 × 3 = -6

Garth you have a mistake in the Second bracket:
      It's -(x+3)(x+5)(x-2)
      Then it is
      -3 times 5 times -2 Equals 30

@@zackfair6203 I was not reffering to any of the questions he did. I just gave a random example.

@@garthreid355 Ah sorry - i got that wrong. My fault
Your example is right. Just multiply the numbers to get the y intercept (this is because you Insert 0 for x)

How and why do you use Desmond, Mr. Woo?

Desmos is an online graphing calculator. He's just going to use it to see how the computer draws the function. Saves time. Google it if you don't know it, it's very useful.

@@ZoradanHawk, oh, I know what it it. I just wanted to know "how and why" he uses it.
How is it used as part of his lesson?
