I love 💕 German bakery!!! As well as the makeup Smashbox (made in Germany) the BMW’s, their beer, their people.... I love everything German🥰 thank you for sharing this recipe
I'd like to make my cake a little bit bigger, so I'm thinking about making one and a half as much of the batter as the recipe says. My question is how the baking time and heat will change?
That depends a lot on your baking pan and your oven. I would make a toothpick test every 10 min. after you reached the baking time in the recipe. Hope that helps!
I am looking at the recipe and in step 2 and 3 it says to add sugar, but in the ingredients there is only 1 mention of 1.5 cups sugar. Do I half that sugar for step 2 and 3??
Thank you Elisa, for pointing that out. I adjusted the recipe description. I use 1/2 cup of sugar to beat with the pinch of salt and the egg whites. And the remaining cup of sugar to beat with the egg yolks.
I remember my mom made this recipe all the time when I was little. Thanks for posting itm.

I don't see the link for the non stick paste. Where can I find it

I follow the same exact recipe and steps but why my batter is not as thick as yours? Any tips?
Thank you
hmm, that is a difficult one. I made that recipe many time and never had that problem. I use medium sized eggs, perhaps you used larger eggs?
What can i substitute for rum?
You can substitute with rum aroma or just leave it completely out
@@AllTastesGerman thanks a lot
I don't see a list of the ingredients.

Am I missing the amounts of each ingredient? I'm not seeing it.
