I made marble cupcakes for my friend who is from Prague. He's only been in the USA for 2 months and he doesn't have any family here. I hope he liked them.
We are Czechs living in America and just tried this recipe - it’s great! So easy for beginners and tastes like home. Thank you for all the hard work. We love your cookbook!!
I am so glad to see you back. Hope you are doing well and I have always enjoyed your videos. Thank you and I cannot wait to try this recipe!!---Tressa Daigle

Ahoj Kristýnko :) , vypadá báječně (Y) , bábovka je krásnou sladkou pamlskou od dětství, též ji máme moc rádi. Dnes jsem dělala jablečný štrúdl, ale příští víkend to bude určitě bábovka, u nás jde na chuť též mramorová, dokonce někdy i politá čokoládou a sypaná jemným kokosem nebo mandlovými lupínky :) .
@@czechcookbook Thanks, just made some today, my whole family is Czech, as a kid my parents and me would visit Czech a lot and my mother cooked Czech pretty often, of course as an adult the opportunities to visit Czech decreased a lot with work and such so I haven't been there in a while. Man that taste brings me back.
Polish deli shops usuallu carry "maka krupczatka" = polohruba mouka. Wondra is reconstituted industrial product. Q: Is it "baking soda" or "baking powder"? Great recipe!
My babi is from Czech, she made me this cake when I was young. And it's been my favourite cake ever since.

where did you get the form?
I think Amazon. But soon I will have my online store where I will be selling small bundt form that works amazing. :)
What kind of oil though? I'm completely inept at baking and am liable to use motor oil unless told otherwise.
Sunflower or canola oil will work fine. 😊
@@czechcookbook Would canola or vegetable oil work? I know they're often used interchangeably with sunflower oil.
Yes 😊

That makes me so happy to hear! I love bringing back wonderful memories through these recipes. ☺️
Omg so I can use all purpose flour, I thought you need to use polohruba flour ?
I create recipes to be able to use all purpose flour. 😊 Except for dumplings and gnocchi.
