This was helpful! I’m accustomed to having my camera behind the camera access door on the side using my LowePro, so it’s nice this bag has one too. I think I’m sold. My empty LowePro ProTactic 450 AW weighs roughly four times as much as my camera with my 70-300 on it. It’s a bag that makes me miserable before anything even goes inside.
Nice bag but with flaws. I would suggest that dividing the compartments with pads is the best protection. Especially hiking because with no dividers the equipment rubs up against one another through movement. I have tried that style and honestly it’s inconvenient and not as well protecting compared to a Lowepro backpack where it is all laid out under the backrest. Also with that style you can sling the entire backpack around and unzip to prepare or change equipment with out taking the backpack off. The padded waist belt keeps it in position on your hips. It’s like having it on a table in front of you. On wet days or in muddy conditions you can’t beat it. Something to consider. I have like 5 camera backpacks. For each and their own.
Thanks for your feedback and thoughts. This backpack does allow you to sling it around and get inside without taking it off, as well. If I’m going on a hike I have to bring a larger backpack to carry all needed supplies in addition to photo gear but if I’m doing a photo or video shoot and not hiking long to get to it or want a bag that is ready to quickly grab and roll with then this backpack is my go-to.
Thanks for a great video! Very helpful. I'm considering this bag for taking out shooting in my city, and especially for travel. While the side pocket is convenient for camera access, I'm worried that will also make it easier to pickpocket / a target for thieves. What is this like safety wise in your opinion?

Do you if all K&F backpacks has compartments for differentcamera parts, do they sell any without compartments for general use?
Its funny that this backpack fits more than my shimoda 50l I have LumixS5 and S5IIx and fits my lenses my Lumix 70-300 85mm 50mm Sigma Art 24-70mm and 35mm with one mic and memory card Case Flash 6 Camera batteries my straps and theres a little room on top still 😅😅😅 but my Shimoda is a storage bag now

great review of the backpack with not showing it on the ACTUAL BACK
I don’t personally wear it as a backpack. I carry it as a camera bag. This is for shoots where I am not walking miles and miles and for traveling as I mention in the video. If I’m doing a long hike or journey I bring gear in a large hiking pack.
If i am getting this for travelling around urban area, will this be good enough for it?
I would say so as long as it can fit what you want to carry around. It’s built to last.
Can this fit a Nikkon 200-500mm lens?
With the right configuration it should be able to. You may have to place it in vertically.
Can this fit 16 inch laptop by anychance
It’s possible. I have fit a 14” and there is a little room to spare. I don’t own a 16” to test it for sure though.

Not certain if it will fit. I am able to fit my 14” MacBook Pro but not sure if it will accommodate a 16” one.
