Idea for a future Multiplayer Monday - a relay race where each of you builds not only your vehicle but a section of the track. Each of you would then have to complete three laps around the weird track, with each lap being done in a different players vehicle.
Thank you so much for playing my hide and seek map! Took around 2 to 3 weeks to make. There are tons of hiding spots too. Also, some trees have switches on them so the forest isn't fully just for looks.

A lot of gaming monitors have a feature that puts a crosshair on screen, that might help the seeker press buttons. Also, the jittering and frame skips on this map are kinda hard to watch.
another alternative is to use tape and on a safe surface and cut it smaller until its a shape like a crosshair then stick it to the screen but don't use markers i did and there is a huge circle on my screen i was playing katamari damacy or one of it's many sequels and i had to get it to a certain size and well i thought hmm if i had a overlay i could cheat and roll it till it fits then i did and realized oh it isn't coming off crap. now i have a poorly drawn circle on my screen
BTW - what makes this map jittery is the number of props used. Scrap Mechanic uses a text file to create the entire 3D map, and by having a lot of assets everywhere the game engine has to parse them all every time you move into a certain radius. There is technique in making an optimal map. For example a plane of concrete requires two co-ordinates, a paint color and a block index value. But a plane with several holes in it require many co-ordinates. The more orderly one is in creating things the better the loading. That's why it is better to avoid diagonals and randomness, if your map is big.
I laughed so hard when you found kAN the first time so fast, then even harder when he did the same thing back lololol.... kAN made a comment about the timer looking dim, yet on yours it looks fine. I'm thinking he still has his bloom off. I noticed that in the giant bathroom as well that the timer looked dim.
I'd like to see you guys revisit old maps and see if there are hiding spots you missed, have everyone learn it forward and back like a week long preview. Kinda curious if you could find the perfect spot in bounds that no one else figured out.
He can't, there's not much space for the camera to pan out. If you paid attention, you would have seen that he tried while in the fireplace and we couldn't see anything.
These maps are inspirational. With my house one finished, I'm working on a factory type map next. Hopefully decent sized, but not enough to make it jittery like this town is.
The timer logic is surprising not too complicated by my standards but if you don't have a grip on logic then it would look like spaghetti art. The 7 segment displays are made up of 8 warehouse lights glitch welded togeather to make 2 squares which when certain ones are activated, it looks like a digit.
I already found it on the workshop! Also the giant bathroom got updated with a lot of new features and hiding spots, will you make another h&s video in it?
MM idea DUCK rescue!! you most return a duck to its mother! you must build a vehicle capable of picking up a fallen duck in a 1 by 3 drain and then drive the duck home to its mother!!!
Next time you play Hide & Seek everyone should turn off their HUD it would make it more intense and interesting plus you could play it like when you get found you help the original seeker. Another idea is if you could get everyone together (KanGaming Moonbo ComodoGaming Dapper Kosmonaut SpyCakes J0hnbane, or at least who you've played with before) you could play a huge game of Hide & Seek, I think that would be really cool.
You guys should follow the same template as the "I built" series. Showing each player screen. Each of you should only upload your seeker round. Also people would have to go to watch the others channels.

You should definitely start pressing the original switch you clicked if you want to close your hiding spot off. If someone sees that green light of the switch, it'll give it away. Clicking it again will at least make it a surprise for them finding you. Leave no trace. 9:24 In this spot, you could have easily clicked the original switch since it was right above your head.
How about building your own hiding spot game where build a piece that can have multiple hiding spots in it and objective to survive longest in your own hiding spot also for yours scrap man you make a scrap dragon and hide inside but dropping it mouth with a piston to connected to a hidden button inside sign that says scragon (short for scrap dragon) and have be behind letter with being press due open spot in the letter o.
MM idea - where all of you build a castle each at a certain distance or in between obstacles and build your own catapults to use and take turns to see who will survive with their castle.

Idea for multiplayer monday: Hide and seek but on map (and not challenge mode) and rule of flashbang (When found out, hider shouts out "Flashbang!!!" and seeker must look at empty wall or floor for one minute, while hider goes to find another spot)
Kan definitely uses his hud sometimes to see! 😏 He made a beeline to the furthest spot on the map and went right to scrapman. Then he left moombos house after checking the whole thing and did a U-turn just to check the roof where the name was visible. This is not the first time he "finds" things nobody could've possibly known about.
When I was designing it, I went to Google and found the floor plan for the 1st floor (didn't want to make the place too massive) and recreated offbrand IKEA from it.
Day 54 of Asking scrapman to make a Machine that make that uses the steal balls and magnets to make the steal ball orbit around your creation with out any thing touching them and try to take out a building with it in instruments of destruction
If your screens dont have a feature for displaying a crosshair, i bet theres like little programms for that. I bet that would make things way smoother as seeker :)
I think when givinh Hints, you guys shouldnt say which one of you are doing it. Once its time to give Hints then the 2 hiding should give Hints both together to make it more fair for the player seeking to randomly find one of the hiders

You should do a multiplayer Monday but you each build a section of the track then put them together. Then you find THE WORST cars on the workshop and drive them on the track
Idea for Multiplayer Monday, make AI cars and have them race, (why is this hard or interesting?: Because the AI would actually have to be so complex with so many sensors so it can go actually fast and make turns/lower its speed automatically and so on)
Could you maybe try to get more people, for example from your discord, on this in the future, with moving spots and maybe even multiple seekers and stuff?
Fun little fact about the map. I told the devs about how bad the trees were about letting you get on top of the forest and into "out of bounds" areas, and they edited the trees to remove the lower hanging branches so that what you were doing at th-cam.com/video/NANImuKgo_0/w-d-xo.html wouldn't work. It's also why there is a glass wall above the power station area, as you could use it to get into the power station even if you had it "turned off" in the pre-game map settings. You think the power station's combination lock was bad? Imagine it locked behind a parkour challenge to reach it, and the only way to leave was a further parkour challenge?
There is actually another way into the spot that the combination lock goes too. The red shipping container has a special item inside that let's you into the spot.
@@michaelwatkins4155 Actually, it was there in the 1st version. No hiding spot related things were added or removed once it was uploaded to the workshop for the first time. The only updates added were the removal of texturing on trees, wall on the gate around the electrical substation, etc. I have all the updates written down in the description of the map.

The hardest text to replicate was the Uegmans logo (recreation of the Wegmans logo [Inside joke only revolving me and why it is called Uegmans]).

Scrap Mechanic should have HUD/GUI settings so you just delete parts of it, like name tags or the tool bar.
