Funny timing- I started a lesson on sky hop and got sick- just posted the video and a SRV interview with it right now. I might do a longer lesson on Sky Hop too soon but this one was just an intro. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thank you for all your lessons! I've learnt so much of blues playing since I discovered your channel. Thank you! I used the one time donation link to give a little back.
Thanks for the lightnin, best ones you do IMO! Recommendation for next hopkins song, 'how long has it been since you been home' great video of him playing and the solo is fun too! Keep up the good work, by far the best teacher on TH-cam!
How bout just do nothing but Lightnin! Great job hoss. How long has it been since you Once was a gambler? Either one of those would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
i like this but for me, funnily enough getting the "verse" section (strumming pattern) is just hard with the fingers. i would have appreciated a little bit more hand-holding through that part, but otherwise a very useful lesson.
Lol, how about playing the whole song in one tuning? It’s not really a lesson. A lesson worth the name would at least include the entire song played uninterrupted with tab so that people could actually just play the whole song through
Just love Lighting. Highlights are when he speaks. What a voice. Another great lesson thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it! More to come!
Oh yeahhhh the best Blues Teacher in youtube. More more more explanation and guidance on these old Blues including how to do Chord changes
Lightnin Hopkins for ever ❤
Love Lightening even when he’s just talking. Cool dude. Image him and Keef jamming together.
