I am pretty sure ESA can be carried in your arms/on your lap with most airlines!! Alice isn't an ESA, but I really should get her certified, I keep meaning to, haha!
@@LRuizCreations I always pick the Uber pet option, but sometimes it can take longer to secure a pet friendly option. If it is taking a while to confirm, sometimes I find local taxi services are faster!
Your pet should be considered your “personal item“ not “carry-on”. Personal items go under the seat in front and carry-ons go in the overhead bin… so I would suggest to anyone on doublechecking this with your airline! (about 30 flights with dog and carry on roller bag)

Some airlines do not allow you to bring a roller bag with you, if you bring a pet with you and instead you must bring a backpack and your pet carrier. I had this happen with two airlines and had to purchase a backpack to put my items inside and check in my roller bag.
Sorry that happened to you! It really makes no sense that that would be a rule when the pet is a personal item… But best to check jic. Considering prices to check in luggage I wouldn’t fly that airline again unless it was that much cheaper 😂😂 also wanted to say very great tips for first timers!
