This is really the barrier that keeps people from learning how to properly progress in skateboarding. Falling is so important that it can’t be avoided or ignored. Bracing yourself and reducing impact is the key to achieving those next level tricks. I’m 50yrs old now and after 30yrs of not skateboarding I started back at 48yrs old a little more than 2years ago.
I have improved a lot and have avoided serious injury so far. This video shows me how much more I can overcome if I just keep at it. Hoping to still be skateboarding at an even higher level into my 60’s.
