For the justice department to fail to act on a contempt of Congress before the stunt would be par for the course. If they fail to follow through now will be extreme contempt of congress and invites legislation on enforcement of contempt of Congress independent of the justice department. There is need for such legislation because the executive branch has become down right contemptuous of the legislative branch.
