So meaningful stuff to them is meaningless. Back when Snow, myself, and a lot of these old rappers were young, we didn't have the tech for all, very young people, to be active on music and such. Grown ups had the say, mostly, on which c.d. is paid for and teens were able to chime in with radio calls. That's it. And we didn't instantly know the happenings of people's lives. So getting the story out there was mostly the name of the game. Teens go through shit on their own levels, so they related to meaningful music more. A good balance of fun music and meaningful was had. But when tech grew and younger kids who just wanted the bright, fun, shiny, bragging part of music was able to actually go through multiple channels to add to the popularity of those types of rappers...this is the result. She has a strong fan base, but the most active people are kids

It's not just that. You also gotta look at the current culture. What do all these top female "rappers" have/do? They acts slutty, dress slutty, they signed deals where they get a LOT of exposure in exchange for a bigger cut and they all follow the lyrical trend of lambos,poppin bottles, stunting on your haters,etc. Snow does none of that and her lyrics are actual meaningful which means low fanbase.

Back when Snow, myself, and a lot of these old rappers were young, we didn't have the tech for all, very young people, to be active on music and such. Grown ups had the say, mostly, on which c.d. is paid for and teens were able to chime in with radio calls. That's it. And we didn't instantly know the happenings of people's lives. So getting the story out there was mostly the name of the game. Teens go through shit on their own levels, so they related to meaningful music more. A good balance of fun music and meaningful was had.
But when tech grew and younger kids who just wanted the bright, fun, shiny, bragging part of music was able to actually go through multiple channels to add to the popularity of those types of rappers...this is the result.
She has a strong fan base, but the most active people are kids
