    For the wrist bands, I used flannel and actually found it easier to insert the elastic BEFORE sewing the ends of the band together. Thank you for a great tutorial! Super useful project. I HATE the water dripping down my arms. 😄

    Love these patterns. Great idea and a perfect gift for any woman. For an extra special gal in your life matching body towel wrap would be a nice addition. 🧖‍♀️

    I had a towel that had gotten ruined on one end that I was able to recycle into this project so thank you so so much for your very clear and efficient tutorial! I'm so excited to finally have some terrycloth wrist bands for when I wash my face and a nice matching headband to keep my hair out of my face

      Also! (lol) I found that once I had overlocked my edges, it was a lot easier to get the stacked thick seams to sew together since they had already gotten compressed in that overlocking step. Plus, it's just helping my very loose terrycloth stay together. This project left my sewing space COVERED in tiny floating shedded bits and strings from my towel so overlocking the edges as you go should help minimize fraying and make later steps a bit smoother, as well as just holding things together nicely long term :D happy sewing!

    On the video you say 7½ × 7½ from each raw edge with 2 inches in between making it 17 inches all together but in the description it says 16 inches. Does the extra inch make a difference? Or can I do either on the headband? Love this video!

    • @InsidetheHem
      @InsidetheHem  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Uh oh. I don't think it will make a difference because of the elastic. But, I'm 99% sure the 17" measurement is the correct one!
