I, too, am WCSG! I’ve worked years to put up that wall of protection. PTSD can cause that. But I’m working on optimism now. My gratitude journal prescribed by my amazing therapist requires me to write 3 things I’m grateful for daily, (when I actually do it.) I’ve been learning too that my faith in God has increased because I realize that even though He hasn’t freed me from my fears and pains completely, he has blessed me in other ways that have given me strength, joy, healthy coping mechanisms to teach to my kids, and many more. I’ve been praying to become a smooth and perfect gem. When really he’s helping me become a diamond.
Optimism comes from seeking gratitude and faith comes from both.

I love Laurel. She is one of my heroes! :) She has inspired me (and many others) to try the Faith-Experiment in our lives! YAY for growth and enlightenment! :) I loved listening to her speak in PHX!! GO LAUREL!! :)
