I have had visitations by my late husband several times over the years. It was not a dream, even a waking dream, it was a visitation. I knew it and God knew it so I definitely can’t question Joseph!
Thank you so much for sharing what you “know” with us Brother Halversen:). I am really enjoying these short devotionals. I loved your point of Joseph sharing the first vision with his mother and the visitation of Moroni with his father. The whole Smith family was needed to support dear Joseph. I am thankful for them and am thankful to others, including yourself, who continue to support him!
Good morning Beautiful Saints. Yes I can stand with President Joseph Smith, I too cannot deny it, I have mentioned this before, my poor mom took a pitch fork aimed at me asking me to denounce the church when I was 18 or 19 years old, I was just getting active in the church and loved it, I pleaded with my mom of the truth of what I was learning. At the end thinking my mom would stain her hands with my blood. I turn and felt the blow on my back, I thought that was it fortunately she hit me with the handle and when I came too. My mom kicked me out of the house, however that did not stop me from loving her, because the spirit told me to love her and be patient with my mom, for he had something better for me. Yes I know how it feels to be near death not kidding.
Wow. I am sorry that you went through that. Heavenly Father knows us well and that through those trails we are made stronger. I like those scriptures about the refiners fire. That we are being shaped and molded. In that context, Heavenly Father is the Great Smith that refines us in the forge that is this world. He knows what's best for us. ❤
Thank you for being my teacher, it's great us saints have access to great leaders and teachers who help us, me understand better our Covenants and our Heavenly Father's great plan of Happiness and thankful for Come Follow Me Home and church study, and your testimony
