    I hope no drawers were harmed in the making of this video 😬
    This was so eventful and action packed, I don't know what to comment on!
    Glad your step dad is getting better, Rich.
    Well done for sticking to your plan despite life's best efforts to get in the way 💪🏃‍♂️

      ha certainly no drawers that were built in the last 90 years! Thank you Mark, I have had to really force myself out the door for many of these runs, but think how hard it would be if I actually had a job as well!

    I used to run around those streets 35 years ago. You seem to be having more fun than I ever did. Probably should have run at midnight more often! 🙂

      Oh nice! I do enjoy running round there in the day a lot more but it rarely seems to work out at the moment!

    The footage of you doing interval training is a thing of comic genius. Watching those 4 (very dull) lights bob about whilst listening to you talk is just making me chuckle so much 😂. It’s better than putting your head through a drawer

      Haha thank you. Yes with that light it’s a wonder I didn’t do more damage to myself on that trail run last week! I’m glad you appreciate the very deliberate shot choices anyway ❤️

      @@TheRichKeeble I really do. As with the equally fun random shots of dustbins, dog poo bags etc etc.

    I'm assuming it's called "dark times" as every run you do seems to start at 11:30pm or thereabouts.

    • @TheRichKeeble
      @TheRichKeeble  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Exactly. Alluding to less than ideal personal issues and actual non-daylight occurrences. Very clever isn't it.

    Great update there, it is interesting to see how you are going on the plan (the BP L4 marathon plan is one I've bought, but decided on another in the end with higher volume and a bit less speedwork). Amazing what difference a couple of years of running makes. You've made me want to try for faster than my 3:30 target now, but I think 3:10 would be a jump too far for now.

    • @TheRichKeeble
      @TheRichKeeble  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks David! I'm pleased I've perhaps motivated you! I actually really like speedwork and have historically found easy running quite boring, although this is the first time it's kind of clicked into more of a routine. This plan is by far the highest mileage one I've tried - I think my biggest week for Manchester last year was 77K or something (which I did in 3:39). May I ask what plan you've gone for instead?

      also interested - I did the BP L3 for Amsterdam, really enjoyed it - and broke 4 for the first time - trying 'runna' this time, but just not getting to grips with it at all. May go up a BP level to L4 for Manchester. 11 weeks to go and changing plans like a pro ! @@TheRichKeeble

      @@TheRichKeeble I went with Pfitzinger & Douglas 18/70 (18 weeks 55-70 miles a week) from the Advanced Marathoning book - good read! I might have to trim it a little due to time constraints but so far so good (63 miles last week nearly) - I got to 50 ish miles a week for a few weeks in Dec in time to start the plan and its week 6 next week if I can get through this one!

    • @TheRichKeeble
      @TheRichKeeble  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@stevenmcfarlane6010keeps it interesting! I had to drop the L4 for Manchester last year as I was coming back off an injury and switched to Manchester’s own 12 week plan. What is Runna? An app I assume.

    • @TheRichKeeble
      @TheRichKeeble  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Daeve42ah yes that one gets referenced a lot on Reddit. 50 mile weeks eh? Sounds like 3:30 might be a little conservative for you! I did 3:39 last year on mainly 50-60K… 30 miles? Biggest week was 77K so yeah I never got to 50miles. This plan is different though… think I’ll be doing 80K/50miles in the next week or so
