  • Today I re-visit my previous RV Mod where I changed over the Dinette to LazyBoy style recliners. However, this time I explain how I achieve a foot rest, and update the tables to Lagun Tables!

You need to order the new tilt thing so they lay flat to the wall

Love it Charles! I have a non-slide Bigfoot and solo camp. I've been thinking of possible ways to redo my dining space to make it more work friendly...and maybe find a remote job to rv full-time. Where did you buy your chairs? Thanks, Nate aka Early Snowbird

Hello Charles. I feel like we have a larger dinette area. Do you think a Euro chair with footrests or the Respawn recliner racing game chair would work? Thanks. I love this idea.

I really like your video where you install the lazy boy chairs to replace your dinette. Please tell me where you bought the chairs. I really want to buy a set like yours.

Thank you for this. I watched your earlier video and was trying to figure out how to adapt the TV mounts - and now I don’t have to. Will order the Lagun table mounts. One question though: how do you secure the chairs when traveling? Is there a method to attach to your carpeted “floor” or bungee cords, or what? Again, thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Actually the chairs just stay in place sitting on the carpet! They never move, and if they ever did, they would be constrained by the sides of the slide and the dinette when the slide is IN for traveling! So far, after thousands of miles on all road conditions, no movement and no problems!

@@charlescoushaine Thanks for getting back to me! We've got a Lance and there is an "open" area between the slide and the kitchen space that I believe a chair could find its way into (especially if we're driving on forest roads, etc.). So, I think I'll have to devise a way to hold down the chairs to the "floor board" you used to sit them on. Have ordered the chairs, but they haven't arrived yet. Lagun table holders are installed and waiting. Appreciate the information you share with us!

Where do you get the swing-arm table leg?

Hey Charles - we love your solution and are going to modify it in our small Winnebago. How are your chairs holding up after 6 years. They are still available at AliExpress.

Our chairs have held up amazing well and I would still recommend them!

The Chair suppler (aliexpress) quotes a delayed delivery time. Did you find a better source with shorter lead times?
Also the Lagun has left and right hand models....did you have to order by phone to specific one at right hand and one at left hand? Thanks....excited to do the change.

We ordered online a left and right hand Lagun table to fit our mounting situation.

Could you tell me how the chairs have held up? Good quality? I see they are only sold from China and will take a long time to deliver. Just wondering if you still feel they are worth it. Thanks

The chairs are excellent quality and at the time of this MOD it was my only choice. Perhaps now something similar might be available on Amazon.com?

Have you done anything about a place for your feet? I love this idea but my legs/feet dangling like that would bother me.

We carry 2 folding stools that we use for guests dining at our flip-up table that also act as great foot rests also! We have also slid out our lowered dinette table halfway as a foot rest! Both work great for us!
