Just had a nice cool shower pumped from our own borehole there's nothing like this. Living life by your own rules in rural Thailand.. Udon Thani says hello 😊
Combination of hay and dried cow dung, sandwiched together and pinned under the water with bamboo. It took 1.5 years for the water to look this colour. And it’s not as pretty looking during wet season - it’s more brown colour then
@@LifeinThailand777 you could run a small filtration pump mate use the drainage outlet as an inlet to the filter and run the filter outlet straight into the pool.
Those tacky concrete animals are often used as gifts to the spirits (you sometimes see heaps of them left on the side of the road). Someone gets a dream or idea that a particular spirit likes zebras for example and leaves one out...they get some good luck and think it's related to the zebra they left so they tell their friends and suddenly there are dozens of them all hopefully bringing good luck to those that left them there. Go figure...😂
Yessss 😂 I always say Thai style is pretty crap. The food, the Culture, the people are awesome, but they've not got good style! 😅 whereas say, Balinese people have great style. I love Balinese style. No tackiness there. But their food and culture I don't like so much. So Thailand still comes out top for me.
Why did you not give the rice too some poor people in the village instead of selling it I bet so many have not got rice Fields in the village you can see you don’t need the money
When you put in your own time and money then sometimes you also want to see some small reward by selling it. Also you will be surprised in Thailand giving to the poor can also backfire in some cases for example they might think u look down on them or they might expect you to start giving them monthly donations 😅😅😅😅
I love your house, especially that pool.❤❤
I discovered your videos by accident. I have a suggestion for you, please do some cooking on here. Maybe a fusion of your style with Thai food.
I'd love to see some of that!
I guess every country has different tastes in decor mate, I absolutely love seeing all the quirky stuff in Thailand.

Build a katom or roofed area so you can sit in the water in shade
Love your new pond socks
Huge business opportunity man
I’ll have 10 pairs size 9,5
Your plunge pool looks the ideal size to put one of those chess board concrete tables and bench in, then you can sit and enjoy a beer in there too
Come on your driveway would look great with those giraffes either side of the entrance. 😃🇦🇺🇦🇺
🤣🤣

An Isaan infinity pool : you got one, I don't 😀Too cold here anyway. Enjoyed the whereabouts.
How did you get your pond to become turquoise colour

would it not be worth drilling a few hooks around the plunge pool and fixing a tarp over it ?
Probably we will do something similar once we’ve gone through the wet season 🙏
be careful. the pond is deep.
With the plunge pool mate do you use anything to stabilise or treat the water ?
I currently don’t. I drain it after about 4 days. Any suggestions though, so as I can keep the water longer, would be well appreciated 🙏

@@LifeinThailand777 Ah the tacy shit shop, so you buy the tacy shit pots anyway lol..😂
Did we just see your wife's arm?
Haha I’ll have to go back and edit that out in case she watches the video 🥴
Don't you have an noise cancelling microphone? Maybe we don't hear your heavy breathing everytime you are or come out the water.😂😂😂😂😂

Everyone has their own rice supply in the village. Also ours was not good quality as it was under a lot of water in Octobers flood.

How much did you get for the rice? Was it sold with the bran still on ?
